Without even waiting for the crowd to calm down, Rory heads for the ship. Abby, Clarke, Bellamy, Atlas, Major Byrne, the Council members, and a legion of guards all follow after her. On their way through the ship, they bump into Murphy lurking off one of the corridors. When she spots him, Rory grabs his arm, pulling him into the group. As soon as they are in the Council room, discussions start. Rory hears the Council speak, hears Major Byrne's report on the state of the guards, then she explains to them just what they are facing. They work out the next steps, Rory deciding that right now their best move is to bide their time until they can come up with a proper plan of action. Bellamy steps up to the table then, explaining where the grounders are most likely to attack and where they need to reinforce their defences. Major Byrne takes it all on board, handing out extra guns and repositioning her men so the perimeter is doubled up.

Murphy is the first to leave, throwing up a sarcastic peace sign and saluting Byrne as he passes her making her instantly regret giving him a rifle. He bails before they even have a chance to reconsider the gun situation. The guards and Byrne leave next, all heading to their assigned posts, followed by the other Council members. Abby stays behind with the others, quickly filling them in on Lincoln's condition before she too leaves, accompanied by Atlas.

"Hey, man." Murphy calls out, spotting Finn sat alone round the side of the ship. Finn doesn't answer him so he takes it as permission to sit down next to him. "Byrne actually gave me a gun. I guess we really are screwed, huh?" Finn says nothing again. "Look, we kicked their asses last time. We'll do it again."

Finn finally looks over at Murphy, just as Rory, Bellamy and Clarke approach them. "A lot of people died last time."

"We had like fifty teenagers fighting a professionally trained army triple our size with hardly any guns between us." Rory says, coming to a stop next to the two of them. "The odds are much better right now."

"We're reinforcing all defences. Doubles on the perimeter. No one's getting past that wire." Bellamy tells him, trying to reassure him.

"He's right." Rory nods. "We're going to keep you safe, Finn. No one is getting to you without my say so first."

Finn pushes himself up from the floor. "I'll see where they're thin."

"No." Bellamy shakes his head. "You should head inside. B corridor will be easier to defend if it comes to that."

Finn looks between the three of them. "I'm not gonna hide."

"Right now, we have to think about keeping you safe." Clarke says.

"This isn't about hiding you, Finn. We just can't have you walking around camp like nothing is wrong, it'll only antagonise them more. Until we have a plan of action, you have to stay out of their sight." Rory tells him. Finn nods his head, backing down slightly. "Clarke and I are going to go see Lincoln, see if he can clarify anything. If anything changes, come and get us."
