Clarke leads the group through the woods and towards the dropship. Two of Lexa's men follow behind her, Lexa and Rory just behind them. The two girls walk side by side, making pleasant conversation as they go. On Rory's other side is Atlas, Arcas walking just behind her. The situation is reflected in the other grounders too, Indra and Gustus taking the same positions just next to Lexa. A few more are scattered around them, some behind and some at the side, all adding to the protection of both Lexa and Rory.

It doesn't take them too long to reach their old camp. As soon as they walk through the gates, the pack spread out slightly. Lexa slows down, her men doing the same, when she spots the burned skeletons littered on the floor. The burned skeletons of her people.

"Welcome to our humble abode." Rory says, holding her arms out wide. She turns to face the group of grounders and she sees their focus is on other things than her. "If it helps at all, I know exactly which bodies are my people and which are yours." She tells Lexa. "When we got Lincoln back, once all of this was over, I was planning on coming back here and burying my people. You're more than welcome to join me and recover the bodies of those you lost."

"The bodies of people you killed, you mean." Indra calls out.

Rory looks back at her. "And who do you think killed my people?" She asks. She turns away from Indra and keeps walking, making her way up the slope leading inside the ship. "Lincoln's in here, top level."

Rory waits at the threshold, ushering Clarke in before her. Clarke heads up the ladders first, closely followed by Arcas. Rory is next, Lexa following her. Atlas, Indra, and Gustus bring up the rear of the group with an extra two warriors, the others waiting just outside the ship. The second Rory steps onto the top level, her heart sinks into her stomach.

Octavia is knelt beside Lincoln, her body wracked with sobs. Rory steps away from the ladder, giving Lexa space to stand, and looks at the others. Nyko, Finn, and Abby all look away from her, unable to meet her eyes, unable to withstand the sight of her heart breaking. She glances over at Clarke and sees the grim look on her face. "No, no." Rory mutters, shaking her head. When he hears her voice, Bellamy lifts his head, still keeping his grip on Octavia. The two of them lock eyes. "Bell? Bell, he isn't- he can't- what's going on?"

"He stopped breathing." Abby explains. Rory's head snaps over to look at her. Her eyes are full of tears, her chest is rising and falling rapidly with every shaky breath she takes and, Abby knows, she's watching Rory's heart break a little bit more than it already has. "I did CPR and, it didn't work. I'm so sorry, Aurora. He's gone."

"No he's not. Move. I'm taking over. He's not dying today! I'm not letting him." Rory rushes over to Lincoln, pushing past Abby and Clarke. She falls to her knees next to him and starts compressions, just like she'd done a few hours earlier. "I kept you alive for ten minutes. I can do it again. Do you hear me? I can do it again. You're not dying, not like this, not today." She tells Lincoln's unresponsive form. On his other side, quiet sobs escape Octavia, Bellamy's arm firmly wrapped around her, and they spur Rory on even more. "Come on! Come on, Lincoln! Breathe! Please, Lincoln!" She shouts, tears escaping her own eyes. Her vision blurs from the flow of tears but she doesn't stop, she doesn't even stop when chaos starts to descend around her.
