Yeah so this is just the beginning. There will be many similarities between the Captain America movies and this, and you probably can guess why. I was supposed to post this sometime in the fall, but obviously that did not happen.

In this, Ahsoka is obviously the Bucky and Anakin is more of the Captain America character.

I also showed this chapter to my friends to see their opinions and they liked it. They might be a little biased though.

TW for major character "death" (you should know what I mean by this)

Ahsoka loved to sleep. It was one of her favorite things in the world. She'd curl up like a Loth cat with her fluffy blankets all around her. It was one of the best feelings in the world. Unfortunately, she was not sleeping like a Loth cat in her many blankets. She was in a camp with Anakin, Rex, and Jesse. The mission they were doing was intercepting a package on a Separatist train on a Separatist planet that had been infiltrated by them. The package was apparently a new kind of weapon. Ahsoka didn't know many details about it, and neither did Anakin.

"Snips, I know you're awake." Anakin said from across the fire. He was on guard duty.

"No, I'm not." Ahsoka objected.

Anakin laughed. "Come on, sit next to me. What's bothering you?"

Ahsoka hesitantly got up and sat next to him. "Anakin, when will this war end?"

Her Master looked surprised for a second, but wrapped his arm around Ahsoka. "I don't know."

"How many people will have to die before the war can end?" Ahsoka asked carefully.

"I don't know." Anakin said.

"What would happen if one of us died?" Ahsoka said nervously. "What would you do if I died?

Anakin's eyes widened in shock, but he still answered the question. "You won't have to," Anakin said softly, "because I'm with you to the end of the line."

Ahsoka smiled. "I know." She gave her brother a big hug. They both fell asleep like this.

...

"Okay come on," Anakin said. "We only have a minute before we infiltrate the train, and we only have thirty seconds to get onto that train too. Their scanners are being scrambled by a group of four clones nearby, giving us more time to get on it, but not a lot."

"Roger that, sir." Rex nodded.

"Once we're on the train, Rex and Jesse will go look for the information in the front half of the train, while Ahsoka and I will do the back half. Tell the other group if you find anything." Anakin decided. "And by anything, I mean anything."

He received three head nods in confirmation.

Ahsoka looked towards the magnetic train tracks after hearing a loud huffing sound, just loud enough for her montrals to pick it up, but not loud enough for Anakin, Rex, or Jesse to hear. "I hear the train!" She told everyone, locking eyes with every single one of them.

Anakin smirked once the train came into view. "Race you to the train." He got out his grappling hook, and used it as a zip line. Rex and Jesse weren't far behind doing the same as Anakin.

"Of course." Ahsoka rolled her eyes, but followed Anakin, Jesse, and Rex onto the middle train car of the train. When her feet touched the train, she pointed to a train car next to the one she was standing on. "You take that one, Rex and Jesse, Anakin and I can take this one."

Rex nodded. "Okay, Commander."

"By the way, I won." Anakin declared, much to Ahsoka's amusement. She heard the train, so that had to count for something, right?

As Anakin used his lightsaber to cut a hole in the train, Ahsoka decided to use the Force to see what was inside. She closed her eyes and did her best to stay calm, reaching out through the Force. There was something off about one of the droids inside. It felt...clouded. Whatever it was, she and Anakin could handle it. They always did.

"Come on, Snips." Anakin said as he not-very-gracefully jumped down into the hole he made. Ahsoka followed him. There was a team of B1 Battle Droids waiting for them, which were all cut down almost immediately.

"Come on, we should search for the information." Ahsoka decided as she pried open a box on the ground with her hands. Inside were just extra droid parts. "You found anything, Anakin?"

Anakin shook his head. "No, not yet. I think this car is only for droid parts. Let's move onto the next one."

Ahsoka nodded. "Okay."

Ahsoka went in first, then Anakin. Both of them immediately started opening boxes and checking to see if the package was inside.

Suddenly, Anakin's comlink beeped. It was Rex.

"General, we've found the package." Rex said.

Anakin sighed in relief. "Good. Now, we need to get rid of this train. We can't let it reach the nearby Separatist base."

BOOM!

Ahsoka was thrown to the floor. She squinted, her montrals ringing. She could suddenly feel the wind coming from outside. That's when she realized that part of the train wall to her right had been pulled away. Anakin was laying down on his back a few feet away from her, but he looked pretty okay. Ahsoka got onto her knees and looked up.

There was a new droid. It looked like a tactical droid, but different. It looked like an assassin droid too. It had two big guns on its shoulders and looked bigger than Anakin.

Ahsoka scrambled to her feet. Her hands edged towards her lightsabers, but there was no time, the new droid fired again.

Ahsoka felt herself being flown back, out of the train. Her back hit the wall and she let out a strangled cry. Her arms desperately searched for something to cling to, and thankfully she found something. She gripped the piece of wall that got peeled back until her knuckles were white.

"Ahsoka!" Anakin finally got up. He had seen Ahsoka get flown back and he had already seen the stupid droid. Of course, he immediately got his lightsaber out and sliced the droid in half, much to Ahsoka's relief.

"Can't...hold on." Ahsoka struggled to hold on. Her hands kept on slipping and her limbs couldn't stop flailing around.

Anakin did his best to get as close as possible to Ahsoka and he reached his hand out to her. "Take my hand!"

Ahsoka reached her right hand out slowly. It got blown back by the wind. She tried again. She was so close to safety. That was until her hand slipped.

"ANAKIN!"

"NOOOOOOO!"

And now I have wrenched your hearts out and left them to burn. I regret nothing.

The next few chapters will focus on the aftermath of this.

Have a good/night or time on an alien planet.
