So we have reached the last chapter

I'm gonna be sad to end this, but I'm also excited

I hope you guys enjoy

Anakin felt it the moment it happened. He felt his bond with Obi-Wan shatter and dissolve. It wasn't sudden, like it was with Ahsoka after the cliff. It took a little longer.

He sucked in a breath.

"Sir, are you okay?" Rex asked.

Anakin narrowed his eyes. "Obi-Wan's dead." He must've sounded too aggressive or something because Rex flinched back.

"No—no—no—" Rex backed away to the wall. It was as if he was clutching it with his body.

Anakin didn't blame him. Obi-Wan was a friend.

"I'm going to kill whoever did this." Anakin decided angrily. He punched the wall, with his metal hand, leaving a dent and fully embracing the anger that had so happily built up inside him.

"Sir—" Rex looked as if he wanted to protest.

"Obi-Wan is dead!" Anakin shouted. "Do you not get that! You're a clone, haven't you faced death all the time? Why don't you understand?"

Rex flinched away from Anakin again. He looked down. "Sir, I know this isn't you. The General I served under would never do this. He'd never say these things."

"Isn't it?" Anakin laughed coldly. "Whatever, I'm doing. Don't try to stop me." He stormed away.

Rex didn't try to stop him.

Anakin felt himself go dark. So this is what it's like to reach your true potential.

...

Ahsoka glared at Dooku. "You—you killed him."

"Yes, it seems I did." Dooku shrugged. "Don't worry, it was all part of the plan."

"It was a shit plan." Ahsoka snorted.

"And this is why you were kept in that cell for a year. Your sarcasm got on my nerves." Dooku snarled. "You should be grateful. I saved your life."

Ahsoka resisted the urge to show hurt at the comment. "I didn't need your help. And it's most certainly not wanted."

Dooku laughed. "Of course it isn't. Why should it be? But be grateful for the life you had, even if part of it was spent killing without question. Even you have to admit, killing is fun once you get into it."

Ahsoka bit her tongue. It would be best not to say anything. As a brainwashed minion, the killing was fun, but as a person with their own mind, it was most certainly not fun. She stood up and brushed herself off.

Before Dooku could say some witty remark about her lack of words, they began to hear swings and cries from the droids. Blaster fire filled her lekku. The droids advanced onto whoever was attacking them. Ahsoka was too scared to move. Who the kriff was there?

Her question was answered quickly. The blaster fire eventually stopped and Anakin ran through the door. His lightsaber was held firmly in his hand, and it was activated, too. His now bright yellow eyes scanned the room. They looked over the dead clones with hurt, but his eyes turned enraged at the sight of Obi-Wan's body.

"Which one of you killed him?" Anakin demanded.

Dooku and Ahsoka stayed silent. Probably for different reasons. Dooku just didn't want to be killed, and Ahsoka was more hurt by the fact that Anakin probably thought she could kill Obi-Wan because just a day or two ago she was a brainwashed assassin. Just because she tried to kill them two days ago does not mean that she will continue to kill them.
