Woooooo update.
Thanks for 1k views. That's so cool!
One thing that I've noticed is that this is my main priority for you guys, and I think that'll stay that way. I update every few days (I usually update before 2 weeks after the last update) and so I was wondering if you guys want me to keep this up. I always planned for this to happen because of other plans I have (you won't know those plans until probably right before the climax so I don't get your hopes up). I just wanted to ask you guys if you're okay with that because I have 2 other stories that I know a few of you like. Comment your answer if you want to
And now for the actual story.
Anakin was so ready when he got to leave. He would finally get to see Padme, though she still wasn't taking visitors. Maybe he could sneak in and finally see how she was doing.
"Obi-Wan, I can walk by myself!" Anakin complained. "You don't need to try to help me walk!"
Obi-Wan rolled his eyes. "Something tells me not to believe you." He let go anyway.
Anakin smirked, and took one step, then another. It felt so easy. He looked back at Obi-Wan and gave him a smug look. That was until he ran into the open doorway in his arrogance.
Obi-Wan chuckled at Anakin's stupidity. "Yes, I'm sure you can walk." He walked out the door.
Anakin ran after him. "I'm fine now!"
"Don't you have paperwork you need to fill out?" Obi-Wan asked, raising an eyebrow.
Anakin shook his head. "No, I did it all this morning. I already submitted it to the hospital. They know I'm leaving."
"Good. Let's go see Rex." Obi-Wan decided.
"Okay then, so we're doing that now." Anakin shrugged. He was slightly passive aggressive.
"Don't be mad, Rex will be happy to see us." Obi-Wan smiled. "He hasn't seen you at all since the explosion."
Anakin sighed, but followed his former Master out of the Jedi Temple and to the clone hospital.
"We'd like to see CT-7567." Obi-Wan said when the two of them got to the front desk.
The clone looked down to his computer. He typed a few things out on it. Anakin liked the sound the keys made.
Finally, the clone looked up. "CT-7567 is currently being visited by CT-2224 and CT-5597. That is the maximum number of visitors for CT-7567 at a time."
Anakin groaned, very annoyed. Cody and Jesse always took forever when visiting a brother. "Can't we just like, still go in?"
The clone shook his head. "That is against my orders, and protocol too. Good soldiers follow orders."
Anger rose up inside him. "You're not a soldier!" Anakin yelled angrily. He had no idea where the sudden burst of anger came from. It felt so sudden.
Several heads turned towards the noise.
"The way you're acting, you're not much of one either." The clone muttered.
"What was that?" Anakin growled.
"I said—" the clone was stopped by Obi-Wan.
"Let's not fight. We'll come again later." Obi-Wan smiled carefully.
The clone rolled his eyes and looked away.
Obi-Wan grabbed Anakin's shirt and half led, half pulled him outside.
