Maximiliano's POV
I'm extremely anxious but it's a good anxious I guess. If everything goes well this weekend, I'm hoping that Hannah will want to take things to the next level and maybe I can convince her to move in to our mansion with Mass soon."Morning Dad."
"Good morning Lio, how did you guys sleep?" I asked, shuffling around the kitchen.
It's supposed to be one of the hottest days of the year this month so I invited some people over, just current/potential business partners and some friends. It's gonna be a barbecue/pool party so I'm getting everything ready before people start to show up.
"We slept well, Mass is a little weird but we had fun." Aemilio shrugged, grabbing a glass and pouring himself some water.
"Weird how?" I asked curiously.
"We were playing a board game and he lost then out of nowhere he started having a tantrum in Japanese." Aemilio laughed as he explained what happened to me.
"He can speak Japanese?" I asked in surprise.
"Apparently. He said his mom taught him." He shrugged.
"Where is he now?" I queried.
"He said he needed to make sure his mom was okay- you're asking a lot of questions about him." Aemilio said with a smirk, he has certain expressions that make him look so much like Teddy it sets me on edge but I still love him like he's my own. I am his godfather after all.
"No I'm not."
"Yes you are, because he's your actual son." I stopped what I was doing and froze for a second before nodding my head. I was going to have this conversation with him at one point anyway.
"He is and I know you don't really remember Hannah but she's my wife." I said to him.
"Does she know that?" Aemilio asked, raising his eyebrows.
"I don't care if she does." I scoffed, resuming my chopping.
"It's the 21st century dad. Women have rights." Aemilio laughed, dodging a lemon I threw at his head.
"Would you be okay with them becoming a part of our lives? It's been just you and me for a while now." I stated cautiously.
"I'm fine with it as long as I can still be your son too plus I've always wanted a sibling." Aemilio admitted.
"Of course you'll still be my son, Lio. Don't ever think otherwise okay?" He nodded and grinned in relief.
"What the hell are you doing?" Hannah strolled into the kitchen with Mass on her hip, scantily clad in a revealing bikini and some extremely short-shorts, cutting in on the moment Lio and I were having.
"I was having a conversation with my son." I said trying to not get distracted by her attire.
"That's not what I meant. You know damn well you can't cook, all this money and you can't hire a chef." Hannah scoffed.
"Money doesn't buy common sense, mummy." Mass chimed in like the little minion he is.
"You two are really gonna gang up on me like that?" I asked, lowkey feeling very violated.
"I mean they're not wrong dad. You planned a barbecue but you can barely toast a slice of bread." Aemilio said, adding his two cents.
"I can stop all of this you know that right? Do you guys want to eat today or not?" I growled.
"Or not." They all chorused at the same time.
