Kensington's POV
"I promise you! He's a great guy!" Hannah gave me a skeptical look. I'm currently trying to convince her to come on this double date with Teddy, myself and someone I'm attempting to set her up with.

"Oh come on Hannah! It'll be fun, who knows you might even get to hook up with him." Her friend Cleo wiggled her eyebrows in a suggestive manner and Hannah cracked the first smile I've seen her make today but that just made me frown.

Who even invited this bitch?! Like she's literally conjoined at Hannah's hip. I invited Hannah round to my place to get dressed for our double date, not her. I sound really bitter right now but I'm a tiny bit jealous. I haven't said anything though because Cleo hasn't actually done anything to offend me. I'm not even really mad at her, more how the situation that we're in ruined our friendship.

"Fine. He better be the sexiest man I've ever laid eyes on or I'm going to be pissed." I heard the joke and received it but the straight expression on her face killed me. If she had cracked that same joke a few years ago she would have had the biggest, most gorgeous smile on her face. She rarely smiles at all now. It's a struggle to get her to crack a small smile like Cleo did.

I want to know what she went through and what happened to her but I'm scared at the same time. It always seemed like I was the strong one in our friendship, the one with sense, however looking back it was her. Without her optimistic look on life I don't know where we would have been. Her happiness is what kept us going except she isn't happy anymore so it frightens me to think that maybe she feels as if she has nothing to live for. No! I can't think like that! I'll do whatever it takes to see her be her old self, no matter what.

"You won't be disappointed." I gave Hannah a strained smile.

"Are you ladies ready?" Teddy came into our room and I almost jumped him. He's so hot! I honestly wander why he wants to be with me a lot the time.

"Yeah but why is Vincenzo dressed up?" I raised my eyebrow at Max who gave me a scathing glare. Trust me when I say no one hates their new name more than I do but it's still funny to piss Max off.

"Oh he's joining us. It's gonna be like a three way date. I thought you knew? It's me and you, Hannah and the guy you're setting her up with and Max and whoever he scraped from the gutter." I heard a snicker from Hannah and that made me happy and mad at the same time. She'll laugh at Teddy but not me?!

"It's not funny." Max tried to say it with a straight face but I could see the smile in his eyes. What exactly is going on here? He was celebrating his one year anniversary with Isabella not too long ago. What is he really playing at?

"Cosa fai? La ami ancora? Perché dalla mia comprensione sei andato avanti. Per favore non fare più male. Non puoi accettarlo." I said to Max. He better not be screwing around with Hannah because I will not accept that. Truthfully I want them to be together. They balance each other out perfectly but I can tell how much she loves him despite her wanting to date, if he decides to drop her or if he hurts her I know she won't be able to cope. If he's not ready to commit to her then he needs to leave her the fuck alone. It doesn't matter how much I want them to be together because if he's the last straw that finally tips her over the edge for good there's no point in him fucking up her life for no reason.

"Non sto scherzando, Ken. Sì, ho cercato di andare avanti con Isabella, ma non era per scelta. Ho provato a respingerla perché non la merito, ma lei ha ignorato il modo in cui l'ho trattata. Non ha mai smesso di essere mia, quindi per rispondere alla tua domanda si. La amo ancora." Well damn. I didn't expect him to say all that.

"Aspetta, quindi perché porti qualcuno?" Max is literally one of the most difficult people to figure out, he says all that but is bringing some girl?
