Harry

I gasped awake. My head ached so harshly that everything seemed dull for a bit. I was completely calm, turning to my wife, when I realized there was no wife with me. In fact, there was no extra bed space. I was laying in four post bed with the curtains drawn out. This was awfully familiar to my bed at Hogwarts. What was this? I realized I was in the blue shirt and checkered pyjamas I hadn't worn in years to bed and I felt strange. Strange like I was in a different body. Shaking my head, I crawled up to the curtain by the foot of my bed and slightly pulled it open. I was definitely in my dormitory at Hogwarts!

"What is happening?" I muttered.

"Morning is what's happening." I jumped away when in the bed beside me, sat a familiar student. I pulled open the curtain on the left side of my bed and looked at him fully, putting on his uniform shoes, "You're new, aren't you?"

"What?" Why did I know this guy! Who was this? He had a bit long golden-brown hair that came to his forehead but he tried to push them aside. There was a cut running across his face and he quite slender and tall when he stood.

"Hi." He smiled, walking to my bed. I raised my hand but fell on the floor. He chuckled and gave me a hand, "You alright?" He helped me stand.

"Yes. Thank you."

"I'm Remus. Remus Lupin."

I froze. That's how.., I saw this guy in Snape's memory during the backfired occulemency lesson. I gulped, unable to talk.

"You alright there, Harry?" He grinned. And my eyes widened.

"H-How do- do you... know my name?"

"Well, it's on our list. Harry Evans, right? You were moved to our dorm apparently."

I shook my head, thinking this to be a dream. It wasn't. I was still holding his hand.

"Right. Yeah. I'm alright. Thank you." I muttered.

"Is he awake? The Evans boy?" A huffing sound came as a boy came around the bed Remus'd gotten up from. He was disheveled and managing to button up his pant, running to us. His hair were messy and he was holding his glasses by a handle in his mouth. I gasped as he reached me, "You know Evans? You know, Lily Evans?" He was breathing heavy.

"Dad?" I whispered.

"What'd you say?" He looked at me, completely baffled.

"Erm, who's that?" I spoke louder and Remus nodded.

"She's James' secret crush."

"Eh!" James smacked his arm, "I do not like Lily Evans. She's too snobby for my taste. And if you go telling her this, you aren't going to sleep much tonight." He threatened and walked to his bed.

"Ignore him. The most he'll do is put a fart bag under your mattress."

I chuckled.

"It's seven, Harry, I suggest you get ready."

"Oh, Remus, why doth yee always put us to school?" Another whining voice came and a slightly longer dark haired boy hung to the bar of his bed post by the foot of the bed.

"You've got to stop reading Shakespeare, Sirius. You're only pathetic at it."

"You suggested it." Dad spoke up.

"Yeah and now I'm un-suggesting this." Remus shook his head, picking up his messenger bag from his bed, "Come Evans, you wouldn't want to be late for classes, do you?" Remus turned.
