I don't own any of the characters. All credit goes to the Epic J.K. Rowling of course and always.
Harry
I headed back downstairs and quickly showered into decent clothes. I could wear my work attire later. Jogging down the steps, I found the rest in the dining room. Albus was sitting beside Ginny, munching on waffles with James and Teddy fighting on the last sausage. I took it from their fingers and rose it in half, handing a portion to each. Ginny put some chocolate on Albus' waffle and handed it to him and he enjoyed it. I was about to walk around to the counter when a properly filled and set plate, floated and set by the chair next to James opposite her. The kids looked at the floating plate completely fascinated. I chuckled, taking a seat, staring at two waffles, three sausages, some scrambled eggs and a piece of toast.
"Coffee or tea?" She asked.
"Coffee." I grinned and she shook her head as if reading my thoughts.
"Dad can I change my hair like Teddy's?"
"No, honey. Teddy has special magic. Remember?" Ginny added.
"But I want pink hair too."
"James, you can't turn your hair pink." Ginny put a glass of milk for Albus.
"I want pink hair! I want pink hair! I want pink hair!" He started yelling about.
"Ugh! Fine. Stand still!" Ginny groaned. She waved her wand and suddenly his hair glowed a pink. She shook her head and turned to Albus. I was gaping at them. Funnily enough Albus had the same look on his.
"James you look bad." Albus spoke up and Ginny snorted.
"He does, doesn't he?" She agreed with him and he sipped on his milk.
"I do not! Do I, dad?" He turned to me and i was still stunned at the sight of bubblegum pink hair on my son's head. They looked good on Teddy but... James looked ridiculous. I knew if I agreed with Ginny, he'd throw a fit so I shook my head.
"Yay! I have pink hair! Now I will go to my Charms class like this!"
James was being sent to a Charms preschool for magical kids. The moment he accidently set his eggs on fire one day, we sent him to one a year ago. Teddy'd joined it too and they declared him a wizard as well. They had regular school as well, since that charms class was only on Sundays.
"You know what would look great on you with your pink hair?"
"What?"
"A hat. I'll get you one."
"Really? Thanks dad."
I wasnt a bad father. I just didnt want my son to get bullied.
"James, honey, you look ridiculous. I'm changing your hair back. Teddy looks good with those. You look like a faded unicorn."
Ginny spoke up and James burst into tears.
"Come here." She asked. He shook his head.
"Please?"
He crossed his arms and pouted.
"You're mean!"
"People will make fun of you because they don't look good on you. Look, Teddy looks good, doesnt he? Thats why no one will make fun of him. We love your hair. Keep it that way, sweetheart."
"Come on, lets see a mirror?" I offered.
He nodded, glaring at Ginny with me dragging him out. Teddy came out with us and he we stood in the mirror. James' tousled pink hair and Teddy's pink hair matched perfectly.
