I don't own any of the characters. All credit goes to the Epic J.K. Rowling of course and always.
Harry
As everyone dove into chatting and walking around. I noticed how Lily was sitting with the babies her age on the little mattress floor in the corner with chairs set out for the kids. Teddy was busy talking to Adrian and some of the other boys and I noticed how Victoire kept looking over at him. Ginny was setting up the little glasses and I walked over to her, taking her hand.
"What is it?" She asked. I noticed a strand of her stuck in her necklace that was trying to fix. I gave her my flute and stopped her fidgeting. Slowly uncurling a hair from a twine around her neck, "Oh, thank you. That was killing." She groaned.
"What're you doing?"
"Setting up for the dinner."
"Alone?"
"No. Hermione's helping. See?" She pointed at Hermione who was checking the little dishes. I leaned in and kissed her cheek.
"I cannot believe this." I sighed in content.
"Feel better, don't you?"
"Honestly, yes." I nodded.
"Good."
"Did I tell you that dress does wonders for me?"
"You have been the whole evening." She turned red.
"Let's give food out."
I nodded and then she deserved many small foods but platefuls. They were truly delicious, the mini burgers, the chicken pieces, chips, some really delicious creamy salad. For desert, she had treacle tarts and blueberry pastries, but before she served that, she called out everyone for attention. Hermione beaming beside her.
"Erm, before we move on to the sweets part of the evening, I think it's time." Ginny clapped her hands. I bit my lip as they went out and came back in with a white sheet draped trolley. There was a two story, square shaped, almond coloured cake. It was frosted with chocolate cream and candles floating on top.
"Here." She bit her lip, bringing the cake to me in the middle of the room. I looked on top and it read.
To Harry
I looked around as everyone gathered. Hermione let the kids come around us and Ginny held Lily. The candles were blown and the cake was cut. As I did so, the wish grew in my mind.
I want to be normal again.
That was a rather odd wish but strangely, I said it.
People enjoyed cake and the party went quite successfully. People started filing out around eleven and the last to leave were Ron and Hermione.
"So?" Ginny bit her lip, standing by the fireplace where Ron and Hermione'd disappeared.
"So..."
"Did you like it?" She bit her bottom lip.
"I loved it." I cupped her cheek and kissed her deep. She moaned in my embrace and I did in contentment. Hoisting her up, I put her on the table and kissed her so fiercely. She tugged at bow tie and it was yanked off. When I felt her unbuttoning my collar we heard kids running upstairs and broke apart.
"We can't.." She bit her lip and dropped her head back.
"No. They won't even miss us." I kissed her neck.
"I have to feed your daughter." She ran fingers through my hair.
"Oh, my God!" I ran away and heard her laughing downstairs. I jogged up to the lounge and the kids were still in there except, Albus was sitting on James back on the floor rubbing cake in his hair and Teddy was holding Lily, telling them to stop.
