Chapter 23 - Theme Park

You, Tsukishima and the others were finally at the entrance of the theme park. You could already smell the delicious food and hear the shrieks of people on the rollercoasters. You love the adrenaline rushes you get from them and you also couldn't wait to see if Tsukishima screams like a little baby.

"FOOD!!!!" Hinata shouts as soon as he sees the number of stands offering takoyaki and ikayaki.

"I suggest you eat after the rollercoasters..." you tell him.

"Why?" Hinata asks, completely clueless.

"You'll throw up." you flick him on the head.

Hinata rubs his forehead and he looks away from the stands. Kageyama giggles a little bit. You were glad he is loosening up a little.

You all went on a couple of rollercoasters and you were right, Tsukishima did scream like a little baby. He acts way too tough for someone who can't handle a couple of loops. Hinata passed out on one of them, which Yachi cried at when she saw him because she thought he died.

You all now decided to get food and split into groups to not make the lines for each stand too long. You and Tsukishima chose to get corn dogs. Just eating with him makes you happy sometimes. Doing regular things can feel special when it's with someone you love. His hair was a bit messed up from being on the rollercoasters, it looks adorable. It even made you blush, which he noticed.

"Why are you blushing?" he smiled.

"You look so cute." you look away to avoid eye contact.

"What?" this makes him blush too.

"Your hair is so fluffy and... cute right now."

He puts down his corn dog and instantly tries to fix it. You grab his arm and put it down so that he leaves it like that. You give him a quick kiss. He wasn't the one for public display affection but you couldn't help it, he looked too adorable.

You both go back to eating your food and then decide to go to the game stands to win prizes. You of course wanted to win a dinosaur plush for him. You were willing to spend all your money you have with you today for it. The game was to shoot the 3 targets to win a big dinosaur and only 1 to get a small one.

"Y/N you ready don't have to do this." he tries to stop you from spending your money on him.

"I know. But I want to." you say while aiming the toy rifle at the target.

Luckily, you got the first shot. So now you're guaranteed a small dinosaur toy, but you were aiming much bigger.

You were now in full concentration mode. You aim again and surprisingly you hit the target again. You always thought these games were rigged with some magnetic contraption to make you miss the target but this one must fair. You take a deep breath and shoot.

DING DING DING! A loud noise is made by the machine.

"Congrats honey! You won the big prize!" the lady who is working the stand says to you.

Tsukishima's face was priceless. He was shocked you hit all three targets but he eventually started grinning after realising he now owns a big dinosaur toy.

"Here you go my love!" you shove the giant plushie in his face. He starts blushing and starts looking around. He was definitely embarrassed about having a dino toy at his age.

You whisper to him, "Just pretend it's mine" you wink, "But can you still carry it, this is really heavy." you kiss him on the cheek as a thanks.

"I love you shortcake." he smiles.

"I love you too."

After walking for a while, you found all the others that split up from you and you were all ready to leave now.

"Hey it's too early to split apart now! How about we go over to my place, my parents are out so we won't be disturbing them." Nishinoya suggests.

"Sure!" you say.

"I'm in!" Hinata's eyes light up as he realised he gets to spend more time with his friends.

Everyone else agreed and so you all made your way to his house together. Tsukishima didn't wanna go but because you were going of course he was going to go too.
