You've Got Me In Your Pocket [Tsukishima x Reader]

Chapter 4 - Accident

After speaking to Kiyoko, both of you start heading back to the sports hall where the boys were. When entering, you start to look for Tsukishima, without even thinking. After finding him, you make eye contact with him that lasts for about 3 seconds which felt like a minute. You feel an unfamiliar feeling in your chest and realising this you snap out of it. Kiyoko was waiting for you to follow her to the bench and so you jog to her.

When she was explaining some manager stuff to you as the boys were practicing, you feel a sudden pain on the side of your head which knocks you off the bench causing your head to smack off the floor. Everything starts to feel fuzzy and your vision starts to fade.

All of a sudden, you find yourself walking with Tsukishima. Your surroundings seemed so radiant but peaceful. It was completely tranquil, almost like all the cars stopped driving, the winds stopped blowing and you two were the only people in the world. He stops abruptly and you turn around about to ask why he halted. He does something really unexpected; he pulls you into a tight hug. Your face became so hot that his chest must be melting right now. He grabs your arms and starts shaking you. Looking at his face, it was clear he was mouthing your name but you couldn't hear him, then eventually it became slightly muffled to the point you could make out what he was saying.

"Y/N WAKE UP!"

Everything blends into a bright light. Am I dead? 

Your question is soon answered when you flutter your eyes open and you see that Tanaka is vigorously shaking you and screaming your name, meanwhile, a couple of the others are trying to stop him.

"SHE'S ALIVE!!!" Tanaka yells.

"Obviously she's alive! She's not going to die because a ball hit her head." Coach Ukai says while trying to drag Tanaka away from you.

You hear an angelic voice ask "Are you okay?" which made you believe you were actually dead and in heaven but really it was just Kiyoko.

"Other than my head throbbing a little... yeah I am." you reply.

"Y/N I'm so glad you're awake! Are you able to walk? Should we take you home? Here's some water!" Hinata says at an alarming speed while holding his water bottle to your face.

"Instead of annoying her, shouldn't you take her to the nurse's office or a hospital? That was a hard hit... she could have a concussion." A distant voice remarks.

Everyone turns to the blonde in shock.

"What?" he asks, confused.

"You've literally never cared about anyone but yourself." says Tanaka.

"I don't care or anything, I'm just saying." Tsukishima denies any empathy.

"Well since you made the suggestion you should take her." Daichi indirectly demands.

"Why would I do that?"

"Go. Now." Daichi threatens with a dark aura surrounding him. Anyone can feel his anger within a mile radius.

"Okay okay. Come on Y/N." the blonde orders you. You stand up but you quickly become dizzy and lose your balance. Luckily Kageyama, who was to your left, catches you.

"Be careful." he whispers to you while in his arms, causing you to blush.

"I'm leaving without you." Tsukishima says in a harsh tone.

"Wait!" you shout. You're not in the condition to run right now.

You walk to Tsukishima while holding your head as he waits for you at the exit.

You focus on the floor while he escorts you to the nurse's office. You feel a tug on your arm as Tsukishima pulls you towards him. Taking in the few seconds he had his arm around you, you suddenly feel flustered. You catch on to the fact that you were a few inches away from bashing into a lamppost; which probably would have knocked you out again.
