"OH MY GOD, ALLY! DID YOU GET THE CALL?" Normani shouted over the phone to Ally.

"No, what call?" answered Ally.

"ISLAND FREAKING DEF JAM RECORDS SET UP A MEETING WITH US!" Normani continued to shout.

"Manibear, calm down. Have you heard from the others?" Ally questioned.

"Dinah and Lauren said they got the call, too. Camila hasn't been responding to our calls and texts. Oh my god, Ally. We should fly there together."

Ally agreed, "Yeah, give me the date, time, and place of the meeting so that we can schedule a flight."

Normani, Ally, Lauren, and Dinah had all agreed to wait at the airport for each other and take a taxi to the Island Records headquarters. Normani asked on the ride there, "Did you know that Shawn Mendes and The Vamps are signed to Island Records?"

"Ugh," Lauren responded remembering her breakup with Brad and the crude joke The Vamps made about her.

"Oh, sorry," Normani said in a regretful tone.

"That's okay, I have even better ones," Lauren said. "Mariah Carey, U2, Grace Jones, and Bob Marley and The Wailers used to be signed to Island Records!" The other girls nodded their heads showing that they were impressed.

They arrived at the HQ and walked in. They informed the receptionist that they had a meeting with Rich Dollaz, the man who called them. The receptionist phoned someone and an assistant came down shortly to escort them. "Ladies, will you please follow me? We will be heading up the elevator to the 10th floor." All them followed the assistant to the elevator and rode it in nervous silence. When they got out of the elevator, they were led down the hall to an office. The assistant opened up the door, "Sir, I have them here for you." "Let them in," said Rich Dollaz.

"Ladies, have a seat. Oh...um. I wasn't expecting this one to be here."

"Who is 'this one'?" Lauren asked.

"The short one," Rich Dollaz responded.

Dinah asked, "Ally?"

Rich Dollaz explained, "Yeah, I called you three and only you three for a reason. Why in the hell is she here?"

Lauren snapped, "You told us you wanted to discuss the future of Fifth Harmony. She is a part of Fifth Harmony."

"Ah, damn. I should have been clearer" Rich Dollaz sighed. "I meant to say three-fifths of Fifth Harmony.

Normani spoke up, "What do you mean?"

Rich Dollaz retorted. "What the fuck do you think I mean? I called you three and only you three because I only wanted to talk to you three." Ally just sat there quietly feeling unwelcomed.

"What about Camila?" Dinah inquired.

"Shit, that bitch don't give a fuck about you. She's signed to Epic as a solo artist. She's going to be the next Selena Gomez or Demi Lovato or some shit like that," answered Rich Dollaz.

"Camila turned her back on us," Dinah stated with sorrow.

"Wait, let's not make assumptions. We can get answers from the source later," Lauren interjected. "Come on, man. Get to the point. Why do you have us here?"

Rich Dollaz started on his pitch, "So, here's the deal. My label heard about you girls getting dropped from Epic, right. They saw something they could salvage out of this mess. No offense to Ally, but she doesn't fit into the vision we have. We're looking for the next TLC or DC3 version of Destiny's Child, but better."

"Better than Destiny's Child?" Normani expressed with skepticism.

"Fuck, yeah!" Rich Dollaz went on. "Look, what we have right here are three, young, sexy women who can sing and dance their asses off." Ally lowered her head at the last part knowing why she didn't fit into their vision. "You will be able to appeal to a broader audience with the racial diversity here. We have the black chick, the Asian or Polynesian chick or whatever the fuck you are, and the Latina. We have to admit that Fifth Harmony was a little heavy on the Latinas. It doesn't hurt to have some balance." The ladies all just looked at him amazed at his bluntness. "And, with Lauren being a white Hispanic, she can appeal to white people too."

Lauren interrupted coldly, "I'm not white."

"Yeah, whatever. You look white to me and probably everyone else, and that's all that matters."

"We're not doing anything without Ally," Normani chided. Ally was her closest friend in the group and to think about being in a group without her hurt her soul.

Rich Dollaz countered, "Hey, I like Ally. I think she's really talented. I could see her on Broadway being the next Idina Menzel singing for Disney princesses and stuff like that. Listen, I'm gonna keep it real. You ladies were put together haphazardly on a game show without any consideration of whether or not you would fit together. They put a grown ass woman, Ally, with a bunch of high school kids." The girls shifted in their seats with visible discomfort. "The whole time you're performing on this show, you're being set up to be an act that appeals to little girls. Your EP was made to appeal to little girls. Then, the record label decided to do a complete 180 and abandon your audience. You went from the Cheetah Girls to the Pussycat Dolls in 0 to 60." Dinah snorted thinking this last part was funny causing Ally to smack her on the shoulder in the big sister role she had grown accustomed to.

Rich Dollaz continued, "They wanted this group to be a hardcore dance group, but Ally and Camila can't dance. God bless your souls. You tried, but it ain't happening."

"Okay, we get it!" remarked Lauren. "We will always be all for one and one for all."

"No, you don't get it," exclaimed Rich Dollaz. "Did you know that there is a movement out there in your fan base calling you three things like The Trinity, The Holy Trinity, and DC3? There is a market out there for you. This is what the fans want. Give them what they want. Remember, that bitch Camila is already doing what's best for her. You should think about doing the same."

Dinah broke in, "Don't call her that!" Rich Dollaz raised up his hands in surrender.

"I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say that we don't need to think about this any further. It's all of us or none of us," said Lauren. The girls nodded in agreement. Lauren, got up and walked towards the door, and the others followed.

Ally stopping right outside of Rich Dollaz's office, "Guys, maybe you should reconsider this."

"What? Ally, no," Normani pled.

"This could be your chance, and I don't want to be the one to hold you back," admitted Ally.

Lauren scolded, "This is not up for debate. We are a GROUP. We come as a package." At that moment, the assistant that escorted them up was there to escort them out. They all caught a taxi to the airport and flew back to their hometowns.
