I looked in to the dark ally way, as I saw my poor kit laying on the ground, huddled and cold. I wanted to feel bad for him, but I just could not. I hated my mate, and he was the one thing that I had left from my mate as well. He was a nuisance, and he slowed me down oh so much.
My friends had told me to just give him to the shelter, but I knew that was a bit too cruel. Even if he was a bad memory of old mate, he did not deserve to get put through that torment like I had once, as I knew that a lot of cats did not make it out of there alive as well, as the two legs seemed make them disappear, and just fall over and die.
I shivered at the thought of that, as I let out a bit of a sigh at the same time as well. A part of me wanted to go up to the poor kit, and hold in to him, to try to warm him up just a little bit, but at the same time as well, I also did not want to get any where near the young kit either.
I hated my mate, and I could not get any sort of sense of feeling for this kit because of that. He had pretended to be in love with me, but as soon as he found out that I was pregnant with his kits, he had thrown me away, and he had gone off to do his own stuff, and found a new mate as I had been told by some of his old friends.
I stared at the kit for a bit longer, as I then shook my head, as I looked away from the kit at the same time as well. I did not want to screw over this poor kit all that badly, and my friends had told me that a younger two leg had been sad that her older kitty pet had passed away.
I had been watching this place for the past couple of days, as I knew that this was the perfect chance to give the poor kit a chance at making it in this world. I felt kind of bad for throwing him away and making him grow up as a kittypet, but it was better than leaving him out in the wild, like I had originally planned on doing.
My friends had taught me out of it, though none of them had offered him a place to stay, or to live at, until I found this two leg home a few days ago. I knew this was the perfect opportunity that would give him a chance as well. I was not a fan of kittypets, but it was better than having him die alone in the wild.
I shook my head, as I stared in front of me at the same time too, as I saw the very large monster come up in front of me at the same time as well. It was a big and yellow one, and it was the one that I had seen the younger two leg get out of at nearly the same time every day up to this point.
I squinted my eyes at it, as I then picked up my kit with my mouth at the same time, and then I dropped him at the front of the two leg den. There was no way that she was going to miss him at this point, as he was right in the middle of where the door was to the entrance of the two leg place.
I dropped him off, as I then began to head away, before the younger two leg noticed me. I had to figure that she would take him in, and at the very least he would be put to a shelter just like the original plan had been. I nodded to my self at the same time too, as it felt like my work here was now done.
As I began to draw a fair bit of some distance away, I then heard the poor kit began to whimper and cry, like it did every time that it wanted me to give it some milk. I was bout to turn around and do so as well, as it seemed like I had all of the sudden forgot as to what it was that I was doing in the first place.
I kind of felt sick, and bad for the poor kit, but at the same time, I also knew that I did not want him, and there was no way I could make it any longer with him by my side. I closed my eyes, and I shook my head, as I heard loud noises come from the younger two leg, as I saw her heading over to him.
I then continued to keep walking, as I knew that he would be fine as long as he was there with him. It kind of saddened me how ever, as to the fact that I would never see my kit again, but I shook off those thoughts, as I knew that they were weak thoughts, as I walked away this time, with out looking back at all.I began to freak out, as it sounded like a poor cat was in trouble, right near the front of my house. It was the same noise that I had heard when my old cat had got trapped, and she had got killed. It gave me PTSD as I thought back on it, and the fact that I could not save her.
I had just gotten off school for the day, and I just wanted to go in side and get some rest, but the moaning from the front porch of my house, seemed to me that I did not have a choice. I knew that I could not just let a poor cat die, at least not with out me trying to help the cat.
As I came up near the front door step, which was where I heard the noise coming from, I saw what was in front of me right away, as I nearly stepped on the poor little thing, which I knew that I would have squashed him, and it would kill me if I had to live knowing that I had killed a poor little kitten.
I stared at it for a few moments, as the kitten seemed to look oddly familiar to me at the same time as well. It looked to be just like the same older tom cat that I used to have, except for the clear fact that the kitten was much younger than my old cat.
As I looked at the kitten for a few moments, I began to feel a bit sad, and a bit sick for the poor kitten, as I saw it moving around like crazy, as it was clear that it was in pain, and it was a fair bit hungry as well. I knew that I could not just leave the poor kitten out to die, but at the same time, I also did not want to bring it in side of my house.
I was not sure what my parents would think if I was to bring a young little kitten in to their home. Fortunately enough for me, I did not have to worry about it all that much longer, as I heard the front door of my house, for some reason swing wide open in front of me.
I was a bit confused as to why, as I saw my father poke his head out in front of me at the same time too, as he seemed to be a bit lost at the same time too, as to why he heard a kitten crying on the front door steps to our house. He squinted his eyes at me, as he then began to speak to me, in a suspicious tone of voice as well.
"Why is there a kitten on our front porch? I told you that you weren't allowed to have any more animals after what happened to the last one, remember?" He said to me. I looked at him for a few moments, as I dipped my head a bit low to the ground at the exact same time as well.
The memory came back up on my mind, as I had let my cat out, to see if he would like it out side, for him only to get torn apart by a dog in our front yard. I winced as I had watched it all unfold in front of me. I knew that the dog still tended to come up here as well, as he seemed to be looking for his next meal a lot.
I felt sick to my stomach at the thought of it, as it was a harsh memory to come to my mind at the same time too, as I lifted my head up to my father, as I nodded to him, with a bit of a sad nod, and a hurt look on my face. He did not seem to feel any sort of bad for me at all how ever.
He did not have much of a reason to how ever, as I knew just as well as he did that it was all my fault. I let out a bit of a soft sigh to my self, as I blinked just a few times too, and then I began to speak back to my father, as to what it was that he had just said to me.
"I just got home from school... He was sitting on our door step..." I said to him, as he did not seem to believe a word that I had just said to him. I rolled my eyes at him, as I then looked back at the young kitten at the same time as well. I felt bad for the kitten, as I wondered as to what it was that might have happened to the poor thing.
I dipped my head a bit low to the ground, as I was not sure what to do at the current moment in time. I did not just want to leave in there to die. I stared at it for a bit of some time, as to my surprise, I suddenly saw my father put his hand over to it, and lift the kitten up from off of the ground.
I tilted my head, as I was a bit confused as to what was going on, and what it was that my father was doing. I looked at my father, as to my surprise, which was rare for him, I saw a sympathetic look on his face, as he then nodded to me at the same time too, and then he began to speak to me.
"I tell you what... We can keep him for a little while... No harm in that... After a few days I am sure we will find some thing to do with him..."
