eightGenesis woke up, she didn't expect herself to have fallen asleep last night. She was awakened by the bright light creeping it's way through her eye lids, forcing her awake.
She had fallen asleep in the same place she was when talking to Bellamy only a few hours ago. She smiled at the thought. He was no where to be seen now, she suspected he had left her as soon as she fell asleep.
However, she didn't know that wasn't true. He had stayed with her for hours, making sure she was okay, making sure she didn't have another nightmare. And she didn't. She found that surprising since the reason she woke up hours before speaking to Bellamy was because of that.
Genesis didn't know that the reason she slept peacefully was because she was in his comfort, she more fell asleep then went to sleep.
She looked around her, it was a lot busier than it was last night. The 100 were scattered around everywhere, doing random things that she wouldn't have even thought of.
Genesis snapped out of her trance when she head screaming coming from the drop ship. She immediately realised that it was Jasper, a guilty feeling overcome her as she had left him alone the whole night after she promised to stay by his side.
She ran straight towards Jasper, seeing his eyes still closed but a series of groans realising from him as Clarke inspected the wound that the grounders had cauterised.
"What's wrong?" Genesis immediately let out, breathing heavily from her small run towards the drop ship. She was severely un-athletic.
"I'm just taking a look at his wound." Clarke reassured her. "It's okay. The grounders cauterised the wound. It saved his life. Garden of Eden this ain't."
"Saved his life so they could string him up as live bait." Finn corrected her, showing no sympathy for the people who saved Jaspers life.
Genesis didn't even realise anyone else was on the second level of the drop ship. She looked up to see Finn and then Monty in the corner, working on the wristbands to see if he could create some sort of radio to the Ark.
"This is infected." Clarke looked closer. Jasper started to groan again so Genesis crouched down next to him and took one of his hands in hers, using her other hand to stroke his hair back. "He could be septic. Any progress on using the wristbands to contact the Ark?"
Monty just stared at Jasper, his life long best friend, in the state he was. He was truly mortified and didn't know how to feel that his best friend could die. Genesis looked over to him and gave him a sympathising look, noticing Wells coming up the ladder.
"That would be a firm no." Monty simply told her.
"My mother would know what to do." Clarke sighed.
"How's he doing?" Wells kneeled down beside Clarke, his eyes only on her.
Genesis could see what Bellamy meant now, it was so obvious how he felt about Clarke, he definitely didn't try to hide it.
"How does it look like he's doing, Wells?" Clarke snapped at the boy.
"Hey, I'm just trying to help." He defended.
