Devastation had hit. It wasn't expected. The night before this morning was joyful, Jasper had woken up. But when one life is saved another is lost in this world. Of course, everyone now knew. But not many people cared for that fact the Chancellors son had been found dead outside the camp walls in the early hours of the morning.

Wells Jaha had been murdered, a lot of people were sure of it. Clarke was in shock, it was safe to say she was mourning over her childhood bestfriend.

Most members of the 100 were too busy getting to work around the camp to even care, making the small place they had a true home for themselves, they were building a fortress.

Genesis was helping wrap some rope around a few logs, tying them together alongside Charlotte. The two had been at it for an hour or two, it was quite entertaining, they laughed and joked quite a lot.

Her head sprung up when she saw a guy drop his side of a tree that he was carrying across the camp. She immediately stopped what she was doing and ran over to him.

"Hey, are you okay?" She touched his shoulder, he looked up and gave the girl a smile, nodding at her.

"Hey!" Murphy called out, storming towards the two. "You think the Grounders are just gonna sit around, wait for us to finish the wall? Maybe we should let the little girl do the lifting for you?"

"Stop being such a dick, Murphy." Genesis rolled her eyes. He was creating such a scene for no reason.

"I just need some water, okay? Then I'll be fine." The boy, Connor, told him, still crouched on the floor, catching his breath.

"Murphy, get this guy some water." Bellamy ordered as he walked over to them. He turned to Charlotte. "Hey, you got this?" He signalled to the tree that now needed someone to help pick it up.

Charlotte looked at Bellamy once before leaning down to try and pick up the tree but he immediately stopped her.

"Hey. I'm just kidding." Bellamy grinned. He picked up the log and tested it on his shoulders, helping carry it away from the middle of the camp.

Genesis watched with her lip between her teeth, a small grin on her face at Bellamy's actions. Right there, that was the Bellamy that she was always going on about, the real Bellamy.

And not to mention she thought it was incredibly attractive watching him lift the tree with ease and carry it away, she was a girl, if she didn't think that was attractive then something was wrong with her.

Just as Bellamy walked away though, Murphy crept up behind the boy, unbuckling his pants and starting to urinate on Connors back whilst he was still crouched down.

Connor grunted as he realised what was happening, he immediately got up from his crouched down position and pushed Murphy away from him. "What the hell Murphy! I could kill you!"

A few of the boys had to hold Connor back from shoving Murphy again, or even worse. Genesis didn't blame him, that was a pretty shitty thing to do.

"You wanted a water break." Murphy shrugged, causing Connor to try and leap towards him again. "Get back to work!" He yelled loudly, signalling to everyone.
