Dylan had ordered Venom to take her to Adrian and that's what he did.
He retracted, revealing the location he took her to. "Uh, Venom, where are we?" Dylan asked.
Brooklyn.
She took in her surroundings, noticing a car was parked next to the building. "This is like an old abandoned building?"
Precisely.
"All right. Let's do this," she said before Venom helped her by getting in incognito. Going through the ceiling and climbing down.
The first thing she spotted was many computers with the security footage of a plane and pictures of the building she was in with a big 'A' on it before.
She bit her lip, getting a closer look yet something to her left caught her eyes and low and behold, it was the high-tech weapons.
And more than she could ever have imagined. She wondered where he was though.
"Venom?" She whispered. "Where's Adrian?"
To your right and forward.
She looked ahead and saw another entrance to, she guessed, the main area of the storage room.
It was dark and dusty all throughout the room. She covered her mouth, entering the big space, only to hear a noise coming from the back.
Her breath hitched as she stopped in her tracks, moving behind the hard rock pillars to hide and peek around them. And that's when she saw him doing whatever touch-ups he was finishing, she took a deep breath before she stepped out in the open.
"Hey!" She hollered, walking towards him as he turned in her direction. Dylan kept a distance while Adrian placed down his things before facing her and leaning against his table.
He laughed. "Little Miss Dylan, we meet again. I didn't hear you come in,"
Dylan balled up her fists. "It's over, I've got you," She stated, sternly towards him.
"You know, Dylan, I gotta tell you, I really, really admire your grit. I see why you work with Peter," He said, causing Dylan's mind to stop at the mention of Peter. Does he know? "I get it now,"
Dylan locked in her jaw. "I want to know why you did it,"
He chuckled. " ... I'm surprised you survived-"
"Tell me," She demanded while pausing. "Tell me why you did what you did," She panted, feeling herself become icier with her patience. "Did you know him, my Dad?"
He let out a huff. "Did I know him?" He showed a devilish smirk. "We worked together in San Francisco before you were born, sweetheart," He looked her in the eyes. "You see Dylan, your Dad and I were good friends, all right? We worked together on your little pet, the symbiote for years. Testing its abilities and limits," He explained, looking off to the side. "And me and your Dad, I would've done anything for him." He admitted but sighed. "But.. then he..." he paused, causing Dylan to step forward automatically.
"He what?" She asked.
He met her gaze, poking his tongue in his bottom lip. "He had let out the symbiote and it got to my wife and... it wiped her memories of me and her. Now your dad was the one who cut all the ties with me, kid. Your dad left me in the dust! With a wife who had no recollection of you I was! Your dad fled, quit the next day and I didn't see him for years,"
He's lying, Dylan.
She gasped. "... Then how did I kill him--?"
"Don't fucking interrupt me!" He yelled, vigorously.
Dylan flinched back as Adrian began to pant and laugh. "You see, your Dad had made a mistake and what did he do to fix it? Nothing! He left without an apology, no contact, no location, no nothing! So I had to get him back for what he did to me,"
Her breath hitched as his words soaked in, making her freeze. "Dylan, I was there," He stood up, walking towards her. "I shot you with it and watched you kill him with your bare hands." Dylan wanted to run, flee but she couldn't move. "And after it took you away, it was just me and him." He stood inches away from her, his smirk grew wider as he leaned down to her level, drilling his eyes into hers. "All alone in an empty house." Her blood ran cold, feeling his breaths hitting her face. Dylan wanted to scream, fight back. "His own blood on the floor, all over his face, his clothes." The fear and horror building up as her chest felt a certain type of pressure. "I can still hear him pleading in my head sometimes. How he laid there, still taking his last breaths before I helped him out. Ending his misery." He finished, an inch away from the trembling girl.
He's lying.
She stammered out her words. "W-- Why?"
He chuckled. "So he wouldn't have a slow and painful death, Dylan. Nobody likes those,"
"Y- you killed him...?"
"No, Dylan. You killed him. The symbiote killed him,"
A single tear ran down her cheek and her heart began to quicken. "No, no, no. N- no, you killed him. You strangled him! He could've lived if you didn't-- !"
"That's right and I'll do it again any day! You deserve to die as painful as what he went through! Prepare to feel- !"
"Dylan?" Peter's voice echoed. She turned to see him, running towards her. "Dylan, he's lying about his wife! Don't listen--"
Yet Dylan felt herself turning back, ignoring Peter. "Why are you doing this?" Her voice sounded wary and short, trying to hold back the emotion, the fear.
And she couldn't react fast enough when Adrian stepped forward, gripping her throat and lifting her off the ground. She gasped, automatically grabbing ahold of his wrist with both hands.
"Dylan!" Peter's yell echoed through her ears as she kicked her feet in the air.
Dylan looked him dead in the eyes, soaking in his response. "Because I want you to understand and I needed a little more time to get her airborne," he said before hearing a beep go off and an explosion happening behind her.
Venom formed out of the side of Dylan, his arm came out and swung at Adrian, causing him to fall and let go of Dylan. She fell on her back and gasped for air. Everything went muffled, the explosions and conflict, Adrian's voice.
Everything around her slowed down. Her vision began to blur. She tried to get up but instantly got pushed down by Adrian's foot.
The loud booms coming from all around her made her ears start to ring intensely. She could hear muffled voices like Peter's and Adrian's but not her own.

Peter
"I'm sorry. Peter," Adrian said as Peter dodges around his high-tech wings.
"What are you talking about, that thing hasn't even touched me yet," Peter grunted, gesturing his hands out.
"True. Then again, wasn't really trying to," He said before the wings flew and broke through all the pillars that held up the stone ceiling.
Causing it all to collapse down on Peter and Dylan. And making Adrian smile as he successfully killed two in one.
