You hold red with lance as Eugene and varian have angry cuffed up with them, both out of breath as you scold the red head
"Don't try to run away again! And don't make people chase you for 5 miles! They'll get cranky!" Eugene yells as your roll your eyes
Lance looks at red before gasping "aw look how fancy you are! How adorable!"
The girl looks down glaring before looking up at the man with soft eyes, you smile at the red head as she holds you close
You hear varian yell at the other one with black hair as she groans, annoyed as she kids a can
"Look! We didn't know it was y/n we robbed! If we knew we wouldn't of did it!!" She yells folding her arms before looking up at the alchemist anger
"Um, that doesn't justify what you did, and how do you know her? I'm still lost here!!" Varian yells as he goes down to her level
"I helped them when they where younger, about 5 and 6 isn't that right my sweet?" You say bending down to move reds hair, she nods shyly as angry rolls her eyes
"Wait? Was that when.... you know" Varian says calming down before looking pitifully at the back of your dress, you nod barely bothered as you mess with reds hair
Lance laughs before looking at the red head "aww, look how fancy! I'm gonna call mine red! You know cause-"
"Cause she has red hair, we get it and you shouldn't be naming the-" Eugene yells as angry kicks him in the stomach, he groans before holding the kid up
"Fine! I'm calling you angry!"
"Cmon you guys" you say angered by the two, both obviously don't know how to change the ways of kids.. or even know how to babysit
"Red, angry I want you to tell me why you where robbing everyone, and where the loot is" she looks up at you not impressed before you give her a glare, the girl looking down before growing
"We didn't do anything! We're survivors y/n! It's not our fault where orphans" the girl yells not answering you as you sigh, patting her head as the three look at you confused
"You may think your an orphan, but remember I'm one two, I know it's not simple being one but it's more fun when you have someone with you angry, now let's get you two something to eat"
The girl looks to the ground defeated before nodding, you smile at the girl before picking her up, the two men look surprised as varian smiles
"Your really good with kids! Would never expect that from a witch" Eugene says surprised as he sees angry blow a raspberry at him, red hugging at your legs as you laugh
"Not a witch, magic expert, but yes taking care of kids is a gift" you say happily as you soothe angry
Varian smiles at you acting to motherly before his cheeks give off a little blush, he looks to the ground embarrassed by his thoughts as lance looks over smirking
"Pretty girl, knows her jobs, and can take care of kids, you hit the jackpot my boy" lance says patting Varian back as the boys face turns bright red
He watches as lance laughs, following you and Flynn to get the girls fed as varian as thinks about his words
"Yeah... I will hit the jackpot... soon"
Unfortunately Eugene had the 'bright' idea of taking the girls to the ugly duckling to tuff them out of the life of crime, you protested as you wanted to get the girls fed and washed, but that man never listens..
"Y/n, I know what I'm doing! These kids need to be toughen out of this phase in life" he says as angry and red sit down, the criminals hovering over them
"It isn't a phase, it's trauma Eugene and I'm into letting you keep them here because I know these guys ain't hurt a fly, I'm way behind schedule now" you say rubbing your eyes as varian pats your back
"H-hey it's okay! Where spending the day together anyways, and I kinda like having those kids around... makes me feel kinda like a dad" he says smiling with a hint of blush
You soften your face from his words as you sigh "okay, but I just wanna make sure your okay with it, these kids can be a little on the edge and your a soft cloud"
He gives you a look before rolling his eyes, puffing out his chest "what do you mean, I can be rough and edgy!"
"Yes~ a alchemist with cute little frescoes can be edgy, try dying your hair more love" you say kissing his cheek as varian quickly melts into you
"Don't know why your complaining~ you love my hair" he says making up little for it's as you laugh with him, though varian can't help but think of the words you said to him
