You hear Varian yell as you rush over to see him tangled ;) in some wire
"Oh my god I can't leave you alone for a second!" You say laughing as you cut the wire of if him he nods dusting himself off
"Yup, that's why where gonna stick together my assistant!" Varian says dramatically pointing a finger in the ceiling, you laugh cleaning up his mess as he goes back to work
'what can make this day any better' you think as you sweep up some dust, you stop as you hear a door open
Varian comes next to you and puts in his mask as you roll your eyes "it's probably just one of my bosses, there looking for me everyday to help"
"Well, it's your day off so it couldn't be, come on" he says turning in the trap and hiding with you
You both hide behind the fog as two lady's walk in talking, you nod at Varian as you turn on his lights in the mask
"Wow! A-a bobby trap!" The women with long hair says as a liquid covers there feet hardening
The one with black hair tries to calm her down as Varian pops up walking to them
"What do you want?..."
The freak out as you laugh behind them, Varian walks closer to them as the try to speak
"Umm...hi sir I didn't mean to bother you it's just, I wanted to ask you about my hair?" The Blondie says grabbing her hair as you walk up behind him smiling with a mask on
"Since your such a magic exper-" Varian sighs getting mad
"Magic I do not work with magic, technically it's alchemy but don't sweat it" he says smiling and taking off his scary mask as you do the same
"Where sorry, you did break into his lab" you say grabbing the neutralizer and going to a raccoon stuck in it
"What is this stuff?" Cassandra says as Rapunzel tries to get out of it
"Oh! It's a chemical compound of my own design! We have a rodent problem here" Varian says as you throw the raccoon out
"It's 'our' design Varian, with the power of alchemy we've done it in a more humane way" you say glaring at Varian
Rapunzel nods as you get them out of the goop
"Just who are you?" She ask as you and Varian bow to her
"She's my assistant, she studies magic my princess" he says nudging you a little, she nods smiling
"Oh please just Rapunzel is fine, and how do you two know who I am?"
You laugh touching her hair "your the princess of Corona, we've all heard about how your hair magically grew back, which is very interesting"
"Right you are y/n~ people say it was magic but- I don't believe in that no offense my dear, I am a man of science specifically al-!"
Cassandra sighs rolling her eyes "yeah yeah we know, listen kid we need you help but whatever happens here stays here! You got it?"
She grabs Varian by the collar as you glare at her
Varian sets Rapunzel on the tablet as he looks throw her hair "oh, yes yes it's very- long"
Rapunzel nods looking to the side disappointed "don't worry princess he knows what he's doing"
"Yes princess- I mean Rapunzel, i Varian! Will unlock the mystery of your hair! By the laws of science!" He declares throwing the microscope away
You clap as Cassandra rolls her eyes
Varian smiles at you before the microscope hits the back of his head hard "ow! D-dont worry I'm okay..."
He laughs falling to the ground unconscious as you rush over
Cassandra sighs crossing her arms "this is gonna be a long day...."
