~A problem in corona~

Rapunzel sighs as you sit in her bedroom, she rubs her hair nervously as she waits for test results

The princess has proposed a test result of your hair as Cassandra goes to her father for answers

You sit there worried as you think of Varian, he has to be sleeping still but he's gonna wake up to find you anytime soon

"O-okay let's not freak out... Your hair can't be like mine....."

You nod before sighing thinking about what experiments you can do on them, you don't want to worry the poor princess when she's gonna be a queen in a few days

"Rapunzel!! I need to speak with you in private!" Cass says running from nowhere, you raise an eyebrow as they argue

"W-we should take y/n with us.... C'mon-" she stops as she sees your things are packed

"Where are you going?...."

You look at them before signing rubbing your shoulder "v-varians probably awake by now... It's so late and I need to go home, I'll discuss this tomorrow"

You walks past the two girls as Rapunzel says your name, you don't listen as you run out fo the castle

"P-please don't be awake...."

You run through town as people say hi, you don't answer as you run into someone

"Oh! Sorry y/n, it's just there's so many people here in my shop today"

Uncle Montey helps you up before smiling "heard a lolly, your friend is in my shop, he's been all over Corona looking for you"

"Oh! Thank you uncle mont! Why is your shop still open? It's midnight..."

He laughs before smiling "it's the anniversary of my shop! It's opened for all night and day!!"

You nod before walking inside, you see people crowded inside as you start looking for Varian

"Oh wait! Y/n he's-!"

Uncle Monty doesn't finish as he sees you run into his shop, he groans before shaking his head

"Young love... I wonder why the boys upset..... who knows" he rushes to greet more people as they laugh

You look inside the shop for Varian as you fix your dress, you greet people before walking around

"Varian?... I though Monty said he was in here" you look around as people start talking

Your eyes widen as you smile brightly, design Varian at a table waiting for you

"Oh! Varian, I was looking for you.... W-why are you here exactly??"

He looks up at you with a glare before walking out of the shop, you raise an eyebrow before following him

"Looks like your in a bad mood... Why?"

Varian ignores you as you both make your way to old Corona... He takes a sort cut before running through the town

You look surprised before following him, you see everyone in there homes as the black rocks glow a deep blue

"Varian!!! What are you doing!!"

You run into his house as you see Quirin passed out on the couch, you hear Varians lab door slam as he mumbles to himself

You follow short behind as you see him talking to himself, he walks around scoffing as rodigur climbs up his arms

"I should've never trusted her! She never listen to what I say and look what happened! Leaving me to myself! I should just-"

He stops as you look at him with concern "oh... Look what the cat dragged in... I don't want to talk to you.."

The boys voice carrying hatred in it as he looks away from you, rodigur climbs off of him before running away

You give him a look before putting your hand on his shoulder, before you can ask what's wrong he pushes you away

You land on the floor yelling as Varian glares you down, the boy mumbling to himself before looking back at you

"Where were you!! I woke up three hours ago and you weren't here! My dad started saying weird things about you and you where no where to be seen!!"

Varian walks to you in anger as you stand up " I went to see the princess... You know I have here the information, I just got caught up in something."

"Oh like what? Going around Corona with Rapunzel? Talking about what dress she should where to bed!"

You glare at Varian as he speaks louder "no.. getting the information to her just like I told you, stop acting like a child"

He starts mumbling insults as you put away his supplies, rodigur makes a sound as he jumps across the ceiling

"Why do 'you' have to be so uptight! We are alchemist! We help people know the logic of things, not hanging around a guard and princess"

You glare at Varian as he goes closer to you, the argument getting more heated then ever

"We need to figure out what's with the rocks... Not you playing princess all day... Your an assistant, not royalty get it right"

Varian glares as you back down, feeling hopeless to say anything back

The boy pushes your shoulder before going to his room, you watch him leave before sighing

"Guess I have to clean all his mess..... It's what an assistant does."
