He hears snoring coming from varian room as he opens the door, eyes widening as he's you two asleep on the bed, varian having his head in your chest as he holds you close
You having your hands in his hair as you mumble in your sleep, varian doing the same, you two sleep talk and always answer each other in your sleep, something the father found Hilarious
The dad smiles at this, closing the door slowly before laughing to himself, you two are confusing sometimes... one day you two would not Talk to each other but the next being as close to each other as possible, though it was rare for you two to fight
You hold your bag close as you make your way through corona with varian, you two haven't spent a day without each other after the moment at night, the boy not wanting to leave your side anymore as he feels more anxious with his dad acting weird
"Next stop in montys shop, to pickup some candy for Rodrigue and that's gonna be all" you say smiling at the boy as he nods, varian pulling you close from your waist, you watch as someone starts yelling about something
"Woah? Is that the bandit?" Varian asks as he watches Eugene and lance catch a person in a cage, you looks closer as varian looks on
"Yeah I think so... it's the one who stole from me a while back I think?" You say thinking back at the night as varian glares
"Yeah, good thing Flynn rider catches them! Otherwise they would still be pick pocketing, let's go see who it is!" He yells dragging you over there as you both go to them
"Hey! Just the kids I was looking for! Y/n rapunzel wants to talk to you about a hair thing? I don't know exactly but look! We caught that bandit!" He yells laughing as lance gasps at you and varian
"Oh my god! You never told me there was an adorable couple you guys where friends with! Aw look at those two!" Lance says as you and varian blush, laughing awkwardly as varian smiles to himself
"Okay that's enough, varian help me with this" Eugene says as varian looks on excited, he goes over and grabs the blue sheet with Flynn before pulling, you go and look who it is before gasping
"You two!!"
You four stand before the king as Eugene looks at him with a smirk "may I introduce you to, the silent striker!"
The guards move out of the way to revile two kids, the two girls look at them in anger as you shake your head
"There kids?!" The captain says as the one with black hair claps her hands, rolling her eyes at him
"Wow! Did you figure that out by yourself?" She asks annoyed as you snap your fingers, the girl looking at you as you glare at her
"Not now, I'm sorry captain but please don't punish them" you say looking at him as he sees the girls glare at him
"You know these children y/n?" He asks as varian looks on confused, you nod as you go to them both, petting reds hair as she smiles at you
"We have a long backstory together, but all that you need to know is that they where only doing it to survive" you say worried for the girls as varian gives you a look
"Wait, when did you meet them? A-and why didn't you te-" Varian gets cut off by the doors opening up loudly, you all look as you see Cassandra look around
She spots before bowing to the king "sorry my king, I need to borrow y/n... oh it's you two varian"
She says rolling her eyes before grabbing you, running out of the room as you yell trying to ask her what's wrong, varian looks on before glaring at the lady in waiting, quickly following you two
"What do you mean what's wrong?! You left after we found important information about the rocks and the 'problem?" She says referencing you and the incident
"That was just a little miss communication... nothing wrong and what's so important about my hair?" You say nervously as you play with your bag, orCassandra sighing before shaking her head
She walks with you to rapunzel room, she fixes her hair before looking at you "that's just the thing, the results showed nothing wrong with it, yet it showed no signs of being normal either? Can you cut your hair?"
"Yeah, I cut my hair and varian every year, but it always grows back to a pretty long length" you say shrugging as you think about the boy, he's probably worried about not having you by his side
You hear a yell behind you as a cabinet falls, Cassandra looks behind you two as varian lays there, rubbing his hair
He looks up at you two before giggling awkwardly, cass groans before you all hear yelling behind you three
"Those thieves escaped!! After them!" Captain yells as you see the kids run past you guys
"Oh you've got to be kidding me! Wait here I'll get rapunzel" Cassandra says annoyed as she runs off to the princess, you help varian up as he rubs his elbow
"Um, sorry... but what was she talking about?" He asks confused as you sigh, shaking your head before looking at the three chase the kids
"It's..... hard to explain, let's help them find kiera and Catalina"
