Chapter Twelve: The Future
Inko POV
Month 12
It had been a whole year since she had been diagnosed with Breast cancer. It felt like years in her opinion.
Life was changing for the better she thought.
She was in remission, they hadn't seen any other tumors besides the one by her heart, that wasn't doing anything, she hoped it wouldn't grow, so she was good on that part.
Toshinori's health was rapidly getting better, but he wasn't in remission. They found a tumor in his head and he said that he wanted it removed so dorfror Everstar went ahead with the procedure.
It went well, but Toshinori flatlined twice and they said if they needed to operate there was a chance of death.
They all prayed that his cancer wouldn't get that bad, but time would tell.
The cat that Eraserhead gave to Izuku they named Raven for the cat's color. Typical for an eight year old.
The boys finally confessed why they were at the park for so long was because they made a friend. Inko and Mistuki cried together after hearing that. Their boys were growing up. Toshinori and Inko were dating in secret, only the family knew who his true identity was, besides Eraserhead, who surprisingly was okay with it, and offered to train the boys and their quirks.
Stating they had a lot of potential, as a dynamic duo, and that Izuku needed to learn to control his vampire side without Katsuki's or Inko's help, Eraserhead said he was going to train him twice a week, without anyone there. So far Izuku only had two days where he tried to eat Eraserheads blood, but that was expected, he said, that in order to progress, he needed to understand the child's quirk, that also was a curse and couldn't be erased.
"What are you thinking about?" Toshinori whispered in her ear, tucking in her hair, that was slowly growing back. Someday it was hard to look in the mirror and remember that yes she lost her breasts and her hair but it also saved her.
She smiled at her boyfriend and thought "damn I'm a lucky person. "
"I'm thinking of us, of the kids, and the future. .''
She said back hearing the children laughing, Toshinori smiled and that was the end of that chapter, yet it was just the beginning of another journey that awaited this small family.
