"MAMA, can you tell us about Papa po?" Calina happily asked.
I licked my lower lip to keep it wet when I felt that it was already dry.
I looked at my side and I gulped when the three of them were looking at me intently. Three amber eyes are glowing and waiting for my answer.
I already read them ten stories but they are still wide awake like an owl.
"Can we talk about Papa tomorrow? Because it's already eleven thirty in the evening. You are supposed to be sleeping," pagkukumbinsi ko sa kanilang tatlo.
I sweetly smiled at them when they all pouted.
"Pero Mama pinatulog na po kami ni Tita Latina kaninang afternoon po," Callum stated.
Agad na napawi ang ngiti ko at hindi ko ma-imagine kung anong itsura ko ngayon. My teeth twitch before sighing.
Mukhang wala akong kawala sa mga ito. Ano bang lahi ang lumahi sa akin?
"Do...Do you like me to describe your father's face?" I asked and they eagerly nod.
Their eyes shine with bright interest.
I sighed before imagining Lurusus in my head and began describing him.
"Your father has thick eyebrows that would lift when he's curious and met when he's frustrated or angry. He has heavy and curly eyelashes. He also has a cute little mole under his right eye. He has a perfect aristocrat pointed nose and thin and soft red lips. Lastly, he have an amber eyes, just like yours," kuwento ko sa kanila.
"How about his characteristics po, Mama?" asked Caius.
Malandi siya. Malanding-malandi!
"Well...he's sometimes serious and sometimes he's cheerful and bubbly."
"Mama ang ganda po ng ngiti mo. It's very big and it looks happy," Caius said and I went back to reality.
I blinked and my smile vanished.
"W-What?" I stammered.
Caius titled his head on the side. "Masaya ka po, Mama," he said. It's not a question, he's directly pointing it out.
"A-Am I?"
"Opo, Mama! You are grinning po! From ear to ear!" Callum happily chirped.
Am I really grinning like an idiot?
I let out a nervous and awkward laugh.
"I-I am n-not," nauutal kong pagtanggi.
I face palmed in my mind and scolded myself for stuttering. I am just proving it, aren't I?
Well, I think they know me better than I do.
I had goosebumps while looking at Caius and Callum wearing a smirk and it immediately reminded me of someone but I pushed it aside right away.
"Miss mo na po ba si Papa, Mama?" Calina suddenly butts in and my stomach tightens. I can feel my diaphragm rising.
