Charlotte went down to eat breakfast which was unusual, because she usually doesn't. As she walked down the stairs she smelled her favorite food; blueberry pancakes.
Charlotte screamed,"Really Phoenix, you think you can make blueberry pancakes and this all be better?Guess what, it's not going to work!"

"You really think that after you went behind my back last night, and saw Calum that I would actually make you pancakes, these are for me!" Phoenix spat, shoving a pancake in her mouth. Charlotte tried to grab a pancake, but Phoenix swatted her hand away. "No pancakes for you." Phoenix smirked. Charlotte rolled her eyes at her. "Maybe if you hadn't started all of this drama, you could've had some pancakes.
Why do you always have to start drama?" Phoenix asked.

Charlotte scoffed at Phoenix.
"You are seriously psycho! You really think I'm the one who started all the drama? I wasn't the one who went all the way into the boys bathroom to have a little 'chat' with Calum!" Charlotte was on one of her rants, she began to get frustrated, and ran a hand through her wavy hair.
"And I'm not the one that is always trying to bring other people down just to make my self feel better! Phoenix, you don't actually have friends, those people you hang out with, they hate you! They are so terrified to do anything you won't approve of! God, they're so far up your ass! It's ridiculous, I can't believe you're content with being this way! This isn't you." Phoenix was frowning, she wasn't content. She wanted to change. Phoenix felt tears prickling her eyes. The only reason why Phoenix was such a terrible person was, because she thought it was the only way to survive. "My dear Phoenix you're not a queen, you are a fake." Charlotte had never said something so hurtful to her sister.

Phoenix ran to the door without hesitation and slammed it shut.
She didn't bother to grab shoes or a jacket. Charlotte considered going after her sister, but decided not to because of the heavenly pancakes that were calling her name .Phoenix started crying, mascara ran down her eyes making her look like she was from the movie "The Exorcist." She started jogging to Candace's house, which was the a couple of streets down from her house.

Phoenix knocked on Candace's door, and on the other side Luke was freaking out. "Candace I thought you said your parents weren't coming home?" Luke said frantically.
"They aren't coming home till next Friday, what are you talking about?"
Luke scurried to find his flannel, only to find Candace wearing it. He thought she'd never looked better.
"Just answer the door Luke. My parents have never came home early before, stop worrying." Candace said, putting some bread in the toaster.
"I'm making toast what kind of jelly do you want?"
"Strawberry please."
Luke sighed, and opened the door. His jaw dropped, standing before him was a queen in distress.
"Woah Phoenix are you alright? What are you doing here?"
Phoenix heard a deep voice instead of her best friends. Phoenix looked at Luke confused. Why would he be in her best friends house, only in his tidy whities.
"I could ask you the same thing." Phoenix said, and pushed past him with the last shred of dignity she had, and went inside Candace's house to find her.
Candace turned around, and immediately embraced Phoenix.
"Oh my god, what's wrong. Did someone hurt you. Do I need to call the cops?" Phoenix let out a loud sob, and shoved her face into Candace's shoulder. Candace looked over Phoenix to see Luke making a very puzzled face at her. He looked like he was about to say something, but Candace put a finger to her mouth, silencing him before he could even speak.

"Phoenix, darling, I love you, and I care for you deeply. Please let me help you through the crisis you are dealing with." Phoenix blew her nose into Luke's flannel.

"You don't actually love me. You don't even like me. Don't lie to me."

"Phoenix, please tell me you're joking. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. You are my best friend. I will love you no matter what. I love you bitch. I ain't ever gonna stop loving you, bitch."

Phoenix giggled at the fact that Candace just quoted a vine while trying to be serious.

"See that's the gorgeous smile we want to see."

Phoenix smiled bright, and hugged her best friend once more.

"I want to be a better person Candace. I don't want people to be scared of me. I want them to like me for me. I want to change. I will change."

"We'll do it together. From now on we won't be judgmental towards other people. We will be more excepting! I'll always be here for you Phoenix, remember that!" Phoenix nodded, feeling better already! Until she noticed Luke again.

"So, why aren't you wearing anything but underwear?" Phoenix asked as the toast popped out of the toaster. This should be interesting.
