"Look over there, in the tree." I whisper to my friend Jenny. She has the sniper positioned in direct aim to the enemy and of course, like normal I'm the one with the binoculars.
"Don't give me that look Lex; I know you want to shoot but the colonel said after your psychotic episode near the swamp, she doesn't want you firing any weapon."
"I will be fine." I smile.
"No, Nope definitely not taking that chance, sorry."
"Fine." Jen takes her aim, she takes a shot for the heart. The girl falls from the tree with increasing speed and lands with a hard thud.
"That's one down, million more to go, hey Lex?"
"Yeah more would go down if I were allowed." I mumble under my breath.
"Oi I heard that," she looked sympathetic "Lex, you will go for your shooting assessment soon, hopefully tomorrow if you're good." Her grin was wide.
"I'm not a dog, Jen."
