I see the sun rise and I exhale, I hear his foot steps as the elevator opens on this floor. I listen to his wide legged gait as he walks towards the door, I remain in my seat when I hear a beeping, I frown and check my suit huffing I forgot to take that damn ear piece off.
Philky:Nell, you gotta get outta there now.
Me:I can't do that right now. He killed or hurt my dad.
Philky:But do you-
Me:Yes.
Philky:What would your dad want?
Me:What does it matter? He's gone and what he wanted is what got him killed him and.... J-J
Philk:Janelle no.
Me:He's gonna have to wait.
I stomp and land in the Sanctum. I hear gasps but I ignore it as I feel myself drop.
Enigma POV
I look at "Jennifer" before looking at the others.
Me:What's the plan?
"What are you doing!?"
"You're too upset and you can't attack the imposter right now. Let me handle this."
"You better."
Anissa:Janelle what took you so long? We've been trying to call you!
Me:I left my phone at the house, I was in Tobias' s office throughout the night and just remembered that I hadn't talked to you. Now what do we know?
Gambi:There is no sign of Jefferson.
TC:I can't do this, yall.
Anissa:I'm sorry we don't have time for this.
Grace:Anissa-
Anissa:Tobias is out there. He has his hands on Freeland's throat and he's coming for us. We need our powers back immediately.
Me:Maybe if you let the adults talk you'd have a plan. Shut up, sit down and listen.
Anissa:Excuse me?
Me:Anissa, I am not the one I will kill yo ass right about now, now shut up and let him speak.
Gambi:Anissa you're right, Jefferson's my son, but it's fight now mourn later.
Jen:I knew I should have killed Tobias before. I'm going to fix that right now.
As soon as she stands I push her right back down.
Me:He's waiting for you to come running in.
Anissa:No, you think okay? He texted you. He knows how your powers work.
Gambi:He's baiting you sweetheart. The worst thing you can do is fall for it.
Jen:I'm nor gonna let him get away with killing my dad.
Why are they all so extra.
Me:I should go, he barely knows anything about me besides I have super strength and that I can fight.
Gambi:That won't be necessary, if we work together we can beat tobias.
Philky:Enigma?
Me:Yes?
Philky:Is everything going okay?
