Janelle POV...
The wind blows as I sit at his tombstone. I haven't felt a pulse in my body since he died. My healing as been slowed and I just feel tired now. I don't know if it's depression or just the after effects of mourning, momma P isn't the same, I wouldn't be either if both of my kids were killed by the same group of people. I wipe a speck of mud off the front.
Me:So... Latavious isn't dead, he says he can't die, guess you already know he didn't send that over text. Me and Anissa aren't cool how we used to be, I got a lot of tattoos a few days ago. I got one in memory of you. A small train with your Initials on it with a infinity symbol as the tracks. To me it means you'll forever be doing what you love; running, continuously moving no matter what.
I look at it and rub it before sighing.
Me:I'm thinking about leaving, starting new, out of the Freeland drama, the constant reminders that I'm not liked... But I guess the only good thing is that I'm finally fighting my demons... Literally. I told my dad about Lala, but then I took the memory away, he has too much to worry about then my constant problems.
The wind picks up but I ignore it.
Me:I'll find a way to deal with this, I always have, always will... I just miss you, it's different than the times you left, I knew you were coming back... But this time, I'll never see you again... Well until I die of old age, cause a bullet sure ain't helping me out of this situation.
I feel my phone buzzing and I roll my eyes picking up.
Me:Hello?
Gambi:Jan? Where are you? Jen is overpowering and found Tobias.
I stand up and stretch my arms out.
Me:Where are you?
Gambi: I'm sending you the location.
I pull my mask out of my pocket as I look at the address. Alright. Tunnel, Jen, Gambi.
When I open my eyes I'm infront of Jen and Gambi.
Gambi:Don't shoot. Please, man, it's cool. It's cool.
I frown and turn around, I stare as Lala holds the gun to Gambi. I stand in front of him more protectively.
Lala:It don't look cool... Just tell me one thing, are you with Tobias Whale?
Me:No he's not, this is my little sister, she's like me, he helps us out with our powers. That's it. Put the gun down.
He looks at Jen aiming his gun at her and I start to super stomp when he turns and walks away. I take a deep breath and turn to Gambi and Jen.
Me:I thought our suits weren't done?
Gambi:They aren't... And she isn't ready... That was brave of you.
I frown and look at him.
Me:What do you mean?
I cipher her powers into my body and pick her up, Gambi gives me a sad grin.
Gambi:Your dad told me what he did to you.
Damnit dad and it's not did, it's doing. I look at him and sigh before moving Jen up more comfortably.
Me:I'll find a way to live with it... Where is the van?
He leads and now I have to find a way to erase that memory and this one from Gambi's memory. Once we make it to the car Jen tries to talk.
