People around her moved quickly. Vrishali moved away when a kid ran into her luggage. The mother apologized before she rushed behind the kid. Vrishali couldn't help but chuckle watching the scene.

It was then that she heard someone call her name. Turning around, she came face to face with Padmanabh. Forgetting everything, she rushed towards him and wrapped her arms around him. She took him by surprise, but Padmanabh hugged her back.

"Hi." Padmanabh tucked the hair stand behind her ear. "Hello." She laughed before hugging him. "I missed you."

"I missed you too." He patted her back. They stayed in each other's arms for a minute before pulling away. They were at the airport, which was packed with people. He took a minute before handing over the flowers that he had bought. "Oh—My. They are so beautiful. Are you being a romantic, Mr Padmanabh?" She joked and he smiled.

"Well, I must be romantic for you, Mrs Singh." Vrishali let her head fall back as she laughed. "Is this your luggage?" She nodded. "Let's go. Our car is waiting outside."

Excitedly, Vrishali held Padmanabh's empty hand. Padmanabh glanced at their hands as a smile grew on his face. As they started walking, Vrishali couldn't help but admire the flowers he got for her. People around them held hot drinks, laughed, and talked with family and friends. The Christmas air was everywhere, and the airport was decorated with Christmas ornaments.

They have decided to meet in Paris. Vrishali wanted to visit in December, and Padmanabh agreed to her suggestion. "I was five years old when I visited Paris. I don't have any memories of it except for the photographs we have at home."

"I saw those pictures and you were so cute in those hats." Vrishali rolled her eyes. "You were dying to laugh that day. The hats were ridiculously big."

"They would be if you were wearing your Mum's."

"Point." Padmanabh glanced at Vrishali. "If you would like to wear hats this time. I will get you the best ones."

"Are you being sarcastic, Mr Singh?"

"Why would I be sarcastic with you, Mrs Singh?" Vrishali hummed. "I don't know. You are too comfortable being sarcastic with me. I thought you were being sarcastic."

"Well, no. I wanted to see you wearing those hats in Paris."  Vrishali raised her brow while Padmanabh laughed. "I will wear those hats if you want me to." Padmanabh didn't say anything but smiled.

They went over to the parking area. Padmanabh opened the trunk and placed the bags inside. "How did you get this car?"

"I rented it." Vrishali hummed. Padmanabh opened the car door for her. "Thank you."

"The city looks so pretty. I can't wait to see the city at night!" Vrishali looked out of the window and looked at the cafes and the pretty decorations. "I still can't believe I'm in Paris for Christmas."
