"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Why are you arguing?"

"Because you are not agreeing," Vrishali said, placing her hands on her hips and looking up at Padmanabh. "We can't play hide and seek."

"Why can't we? I'm bored, you are free, and we've got this big of a house to hide." Vrishali's hands fly around as she gestures around the place.  "We are not kids," Padmanabh tried to reason.

"So? It's not like someone will rush into her home unannounced. No one would know about it. I don't want to play those board games anymore." Vrishali whinnied. Padmanabh sighed. "Fine."

"Yes!"

"Who is going to hide and who is going to seek?"

Vrishali thought about it. "I'm the younger one. I will hide while you seek." She attempted to run away. "Huh? I'm the older one. You should seek while I hide." Padmanabh pulled Vrishali's t-shirt to keep her in place.

"No, you seek and I hide."

"You were the one who suggested it, so you should seek." They had a staring contest before Vrishali ran away towards the stairs. "You can't use the gardens."

"Okay! Now you seek while I hide. No cheating," Vrishali yelled, glancing behind her. Padmanabh let out a laugh before going over to the nearest wall to seek. He counted to 100 in his mind before going downstairs, where she had run off to.

Vrishali didn't have much time, and she knew the spot where she needed to hide. She was sure Padmanabh wouldn't even think of the spot. Letting out an evil giggle, Vrishali opened the doors gently and got inside. She carefully closed the doors, knowing not to make any noise.

Padmanabh started with the projector room. He looked behind the sofa, in the small closet room inside the projector. He left for the remaining rooms on the ground floor. His brow furrowed as he couldn't find her anywhere. Thinking of where she would probably hide, he went to the gardens before returning to their bedroom.

Their bedroom is a massive suite with a living space and one large closet. He knew if there was a place— It would be this where Vrishali would be hiding. He once went through all the spots before walking into her closet. The closet was a room once upon a time, before they renovated and turned it into their closet.

On the right side, everything Vrishali owned was arranged neatly and according to her taste, while Padmanabh's was on the left. In the middle is a floor-to-ceiling mirror and a vanity corner for Vrishali. Her makeup products are arranged in a manner.

He opened the wardrobe doors, going through the clothes to see if Vrishali was hiding underneath. There was space for her to fit in. He couldn't find anything; he was supposed to ignore his side, but he decided to check.
