Hey guys i am replying to littlemissmusical25 right now. Thank you for replying. So littlemissmusical25 if when you said CEA you meant cheer extreme allstars then yes they require tryouts to be on there cheer teams.

If you are looking to get into a more competitive cheer allstar cheer is a lot of times more competitive then rec cheer. (In part one of this story 'intro to cheer' i wrote the differences them if you don't know already)

If you are a rec cheerleader and want something more serious allstar cheer is always a good place to look. There are more competitions practices and sometimes its year around depending on where you go.

If you are looking to be an allstar cheerleader you need lots of tumbling and stunting skills. Flexibility also plays a big role even if you are not a flyer. If you are not good at tumbling or stunting then there are usually extra classes at whatever gym you want to tryout at. I am currently an allstar cheerleader and my gym has tons of extra classes.

Littlemissmusical25 also asked for flexibility tips so here they are. Stretch. That is the only way to get better. I recommend first starting with the splits and anything that will make your back more flexible. Back bends are always great they also help with tumbling. After you get your splits you can bring your head to your knee to get a better stretch. You can also bend your back leg up this helps with hurdlers the jump. Sometimes it also helps to have a team mate stretch you. When i stretch my flyers heal stretch she puts her back and one leg agains the wall then i pull the other leg up until she feels the stretch. The i hold it for 10sec. After 10sec i try to pull her leg up just a little bit higher then i hold that for 5sec. I do pretty much the same thing when i stretch her needle accept she switches her body around so her face and stomach are agains the wall.

Doing these stretches also help with the flyers balance is you aren't holding them in place while you stretch them.

Anyways thanks for reading if you have any ideas for the next chapters topic please comment. Happy cheering.
