If your new and have no idea what it is pretty much to put in the simplest way possible when we put girls (or guys) up in the air while they do a bunch of flexible stuff.
Vocabulary that you need to know
•base-supports flyer. The person(s) who holds the flyer in their hands
•secondary base-easier then main base depending on what you are doing.
•main base-uses more strength then secondary base.
•back spot (also known as back base)-the one who will always ketch the flyer. Is the boss of the stunt always listen to your back spot.
•flyer-on top if the stunt.
•half-a stunt where the main and secondary base hold the flyer on the palms of their hands right below their chin (look up on internet)
•full-similar to half it is a stunt where the flyer is in the palm of your hands but your hands above your head. (Look up on internet)
•smush-flyer in palm of hands. Hands right below bellybutton
•lib-flyer on one foot in half or full.
•cradle-all bace dip and throw the flyer up then ketch in a cradle.
Tips for secondary and main base
•ALWAYS ALWAYS fight for your stunt never give up on it
•stay close to the other base
•dont back away from your flyer
•keep your arms close to your chest
•keep your back straight
•if you are the same hight as your other base keep your legs together once in the stunt
Some names of stunts and flyer positions are
•half
•full
•lib
•heel stretch
•scorpion
•straddle
•switch lib
•liberty
•one eighty up
•many more
Stunting is very dangerous if not done right so remember to listen to your coach and your stunt groups. I will post another chapter later on each individual part in a stunt.
