I was a little board so i decided what the hell I'll do a backspot appreciation chapter.
I know some people think that backspots don't do anything but I can assure you that they do. Just remember a backspot that feels appreciated will most likely be a good backspot.
Can all you flyers out there do me a favor. Next time you see your backspot tell them thank you. It will make there day. If they ask why you said thank you say for being there.
A good backspot is always there for there flyer. A good backspot knows when the time is to bring the stunt down so the flyer doesn't get hurt. A good backspot knows when to continue fighting for the stunt.
Love your backspots because they love you more than you can imagine. They love you so much they put your safety and well being before there's.
So next time you see your backspot say thank you.
I am a backspot and before this year my flyer never said thank you or even cared about me and so i was a terrible backspot.
Then this year the first time i saved my flyer she said thank you. My skill level has gone up so much since then. An appreciated backspot is a good backspot.
One time i caught a flyer two inches from the ground. When she stood up she jumped on me and hugged me and said thank you for saving my life. I laughed and said thats what i do.
Flyers you don't have to jump on your backspots and hug them but a thank you may be in order.
Thank you for reading and don't worry flyers and bases i will make an appreciation chapter for you too.
If anyone has any ideas for the next chapter comment.
