Backspot is personally my favorite. I am normally a Backspot but u base every once and a while and i can front spot if needed. Well some people would assume backspot is easy all you have to do is stand their and make sure the flyer feels safe WRONG. The backspot is almost always the one to ketch the flyer. We take all the kicks and punches to the face we always go under our flyer. If you are a backspot repeat after me 'i (say your name) will always make sure i hit the ground before my flyer'.
Sorry i just get really angry when people assume backspots aren't important. My flyer and me are very close even though she is like 5 years younger than me. We have like a sister relationship. She has her own nicknames for me and always gets excited to see me at practice. We have this relationship because after she got use to me backspoting her and how i never let her touch the floor when she fell she started to trust me. Now i am going to share a quote with you about backspoting.
Quote:
I'm the trunk, the pillar and the foundation. I'm the one who pushes up and reaches out for the flyer, I stay grounded and take the falls. Without me there wouldn't be anything to watch. I am the security, the one to trust. They me a BACKSPOT. What do they call you? By cheer-quotes.comNow for the tips:
•fight for your stunt
•dont back away from the stunt
•have no fear
•be in control of the stunt
•make sure everyone in the stunt knows whats going on
•flyer comes first
•dont let the flyer hit the ground
I really could go on and on but i am going to stop here for now.
You know the drill any questions comment here i will answer them next update.
