Leila's P.O.V.

"Ow, ow, ooww!" The 8 year-old whined. Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes, her long, curly hair messed up due to the fall.

"That's why you need to be more careful, Araceli." I chuckled. Holding the alcohol to the little girl's elbow. I had already bandaged up both of her knees. All I needed was this elbow and her left palm. "How'd you fall down the slide anyways?"

"Well you see..." She mumbled something.

"What?" She mumbled again. "Araceli!"

"That girl pushed me down." She said again, barely audible. I tensed up an looked to where she was pointing. It was a 12-year-old girl by the swings who was looked way taller than Araceli. Luckily for me, there was only one other kid on he playground by his self. I set down the the alcohol-damped cloth onto the first aid kit and began walking over to the girl.

"Big sis! Please don't! You're going to make it worse!" My little sister came and pulled on my hand in an attempt to stop me.

"No, Araceli! I will not let her treat you like this!" I turned to look at her.

"Sister, please." She said, on the verge of tears. "Please..." My eyes softened.

"Fine." I said to her. I grabbed her hand and walked back over to the bench to finish bandaging her up. "But if it happens again, I'll kill her." My sister giggled.

"Mommy said to never say that, big sis!" I smiled at her.

"That's why we're keeping this between you and me." I kissed her forehead and dabbed more alcohol on the cloth.

"Leila?" I stopped my movement.

"Who's Leila, Araceli?"

"What? I didn't say anything."

"Leeillaa..." I stood up. Behind Araceli. I saw it. I saw a... a thing... It was tall, very tall. The thing was gaunt and slender. He had no face, but wore a tuxedo with a red tie. "LEILA!"

I sat up rapidly. Panting and sweating, I saw Luna standing next to my bed. I looked around and saw that I had fallen asleep whilst doing my homework.

"Leila, are you okay? You were breathing heavily..." Luna questioned, her eyes filled with worry.

"Y-yeah. Just a nightmare." Should I tell her? Can I trust her? "What time is it?"

"It's 8:49."

"What?! Already?" I asked. "Oh, no. I still have a lot of homework to do." I started searching all around the bed for my pencil 'til I finally found it. Holding it up in the light then twirling it so I could get to work.

"Here, scoot over." I did so.

"What're you doing?"

"I'm going to help you, silly!" She said. I smiled at her.

"Thanks." She returned the gesture.

"No problem. How'd school go anyways?" She said, writing something down on my science homework.

"Well, I made some some friends ad they invited me to their house tomorrow. Do you think I'll be able to go?" I asked hopefully.

"That's great!" She said excitedly. "I'll ask Slender and tell you tomorrow morning."

"Okay thank you!" I exclaimed. And we went back to completing the work. Little did I know that in the near future, Luna wouldn't treat me like this anymore.
