Kaen's POV
"Shit... I didn't know it was supposed to rain today."
"Me either."
"What do we do? We don't have any umbrellas."
"Well, our jackets should keep us somewhat dry, but I guess we'll have to just run."
We brace ourselves as we run as fast as we can through the pouring rain, back to my apartment building. "Holy shit. That was rough, we're soaked."
"Yeah, no kidding. I'm freezing."
"Here, take your jacket off, it's probably making you colder."
I take her jacket from her, "Let's go."
We head up the elevator and into my apartment. "Jeez, you're shaking like crazy."
"Y-yeah... I'm freezing. I already felt like shit before, but now I feel even worse." She says while shivering.
"Do you want to take a hot shower? It'll probably make you feel better."
"S-sure... thanks." She says with a little bit of hesitation.
I'm not sure why I even asked her that... it kind of just came out without me even thinking.
I leave some clothes on the bed for her to change into when she gets out, and I get changed myself.
Ash and I have gotten very close the past couple of weeks. Our tutoring sessions always end in us just hanging out, and we've actually being going out more often. It's the end of February, which means finals are next week. I'm nervous, but I think due to all of my studying, I'll actually do decent.
Shit, I think I left my phone in the bedroom.
As I walk in there, Ash walks out of the bathroom with just a towel wrapped around her body. "Shit, sorry." I cover my face to hide the redness that's plastered all over it.
"It's okay," she laughs, "Thanks for letting me shower. I do feel better now."
"Good, good." I barely even listen to what she's saying, because I'm distracted by the water droplets gliding down her body.
"Well, I'll let you get dressed." I hurry out of the room, because who knows where my mind would've traveled if I stared at her a second longer.
She comes out in my clothes, once again, and she looks so damn good in them.
"So, you ready for the final tomorrow?"
"I hope so. I don't want all of this tutoring to go to waste."
"I think you'll do just fine. Besides, the tutoring was necessary for all of your other grades, too. The final is just one of the most important ones."
I sigh, "Yeah, that makes me feel better."
"You'll be fineeee..." she says as she shakes my body.
"You should probably get back home, it's getting late. Don't want your mom to worry or anything."
"Yeah... you're right."
Sometimes it sucks that the drive to her house is only around the corner, because I wish we had more time in the car together. And just more time together, in general.
"Thanks again for letting me shower. I can't believe I'm stealing more of your clothes, but I'm not gonna lie... they're pretty comfy. You'll get them back... eventually."
We both laugh, "Yeah, yeah. See you tomorrow."
"Goodnight, Kaen."
"Night."
