Alex pov.

As my eyes adjusted to the bright light I could see I was in a hospital room by how bland and white the room was.

I could feel myself returning to my conscious state as my sight became clear and the faint beeping sound of a monitor had increased to a loud beeping that rang through my heightened ears.

As I used my senses I could smell a mixture of metal and bleach which I scrunched my nose up at.

I heard a faint muffled noise come from outside my room. I easily drowned out the Monitor to focus in on the 2 voices.

"The alpha has been in there all day not leaving her side." Said one I assumed nurses. "yea I know, I heard she was found in a pool of blood, she's one of those suicidal cutters" the other said

"Don't u just pity people like that I wonder how the alpha will deal with her. I having a cutter as a mate must be.."

"Disgusting" I finished myself as I blocked out the rest of there conversation. the tears pricked at my eyes.

I was feeling such a overwhelming sense of emotion that I grabbed my throat in a motion similar to that of someone who couldn't breath would do.

Freezing as a tingle sensation crept up my arm i looked over to see Leo was sleeping in a chair next to my bed. his hands that made mine look like a child's in comparison had brushed against mine.

I felt calmer the emotional attack stopping. no matter how much I wanted to I knew I couldn't stay to watch his beautiful blue eyes open.

Looking down arm my wrists I had 3 iv's and a hospital bracket on. I pulled out two of the needles out, there clear liquid that was once flushing through my veins was no dripping on the floor.

Pulling out the last one hurt like a bitch , far more then the others but I managed as I slowly stood up not to wake Leo.

I shuffled my way over to the door using way more stealthiness then was probably necessary but whatever.

I peered out the door to see 3 large buff werewolf's guarding any hope of leaving this room with out being spotted.

I heard a grumbling come from a thankfully still sleeping Leo which managed to almost give me a heart attack.

I turned towards the windows. i was hoping not to have to jump out then being as I was approximately 6 stories up.

I wouldn't die sadly but I would probably sprain or break something which would make a get away well ...difficult to say the least.

Being it my last option I decided to go for it. I opened the window and moved back for a running start. " hey she's going to jump" I heard one of the guards say as he banged on the locked door.

Sprinting towards the window I jumped out stepping up on the the ledge, pushing off to build momentum.

The door crashed to the ground as I jumped and I could faintly feel a pair of hands graze my ankle right before I started falling.

The sound of panicked voices and growls echoed above me but all I was focused on was landing this thing without immobilizing myself from running.

I landed on my feet and instantly felt a wave of pain as I finished of my landing with a parkour roll to relieve some of the pressure.

I popped up from the roll into a sprint for the woods that were I fro t of me but I instantly could feel the swelling pressure of a possibility sprained ankle.

Running as fast as I could with the pain I tried to shift but rose seemed to not be surfacing. Really this is not my day.

I kept running till I had made it out of the clearing and into the thick woods, with the sound of shifting wolfs not far behind.

I zig zagged around the trees my heart beating fast as my blood could be heard pumping through my ears.

I ran seeing a ravine in front of me. wtf was with all these obstacles. I ran felling two wolfs run in front of me on the sides.

A fierce growl rumbled and Leo had jumped over me so he was in front of me. I stopped and just sat down in activation as they ran a few steps forward till they realized I had stopped.

I sat on the ground just staring at them. "uuuuugghh seriously wtf" I stated flopping on the floor with my eyes closed.

I could hear a slight Wolfy chuckle. they thought hey had got me but I wasn't done. I opened one and then before tgey realized I was up and sprinting past Leo .

Ran to the ravine and jumped off a rock And landed on the other side. well not really. Leo had turned back to his human form, grabbed my ankle mid jump and tossed me to the side, were I rolled over in the grass for a minute.

"Prick" I muttered getting a slight growl from Leo. the pain in my ankle was seething now and when I went to stand I just felt to the floor I taking a sharp breath.

Leo grabbed me and swung me over his shoulder not saying a word just staring straight with a angry look.

"Put me down, let me go, and your naked, Leo" I yelled banging on his wall of a back.

"Shut up were going back to the pack. and if u try to run right now my naked ass isn't the only thing u will be seeing"

My checks almost went red at the thought of wat he was inferring. I just grumbled and let him carry me back
