"Sophie, come on! We're gonna be late to the wedding!" Biana called from down the hall. Sophie had moved in with Biana for the time being, since she hadn't wanted to take up more of Grady and Edaline's space and time, since they were already so busy. Biana was perfectly fine with Sophie being there, as her house had a lot of space.

"I'm coming, I'm coming." Sophie replied. She fastened the strap on her high heel and went downstairs to find Tam and Biana embracing. Surprisingly enough, Tam didn't live with them, since he had a lot of secret investigations for the Black Swan. Sophie had some of those too, but she and Biana worked together on most of them since they were all still a part of the Black Swan.

"Are you sure you can't come? Dex and Marella will be sad." Biana asked.

"Sorry, Biana. I'll see if I can come as soon as I'm done." Tam said.

"Okay. See you soon?" she asked disappointedly.

"Yeah, definitely. Bye." Tam kissed her on the cheek and left with a wave.

"You really love him, don't you?" Sophie asked teasingly.

"Sophie! Don't say such things." Biana replied with a smile. "Now let's go, before we're late."

Sophie only smiled at Biana, and then they went upstairs to the Leapmaster.

"Memorialia!" Sophie called, and the light whisked them away.

Dex had proposed to Marella only months ago, and Sophie was extremely happy for them. But she was still a bit melancholy, since she hadn't found anyone special yet. All of her friends were dating someone, and it seemed a bit strange that Dex was the first one the get married even though he was particularly shy.

Biana and Tam had been dating for around 3 years, Linh was engaged to Wylie, and Dex and Marella were getting married. Fitz had gotten himself a girlfriend named Novaline, and they seemed content. Even Keefe had been dating around, trying to find the perfect someone. And only Sophie was left.

"Oh, it's beautiful!" Biana exclaimed when they arrived at the venue.

"Yeah, it is."

"What's with the long face, Sophie? This should be a happy day! Dex and Marella are getting married, for crying out loud!"

"Ah, it's nothing."

"Are you really that upset about not having a plus-one, or whatever they call it? I don't have one either, since Tam was busy."

"Yeah, but . . . it's different. At least you would have had someone. I'm just . . . alone."

"Sophie, you listen to me." Biana waited until Sophie met her eyes. "You are one of the greatest elves this world has to offer, and if no one besides me can see it then they're completely blind. Especially if it has anything to do with my older brother. He let go of something he shouldn't have. You'll find someone, and they'll be perfect for you."

"Thanks, Biana." Sophie said. Biana linked their arms and dragged Sophie with her to find their friends. When she finally spotted Keefe's tousled hair, she pulled Sophie over to him to say hello.

"Hey Keefe!" Biana said. "Oh, wait, there's Marella! She looks so pretty, don't you think, Sophie? I'm gonna go talk to her! You stay here!"

"Sure."

"Hey, Foster. Are you excited for the wedding?"

"Yeah. I am."

"It sure doesn't feel like it." Keefe said, fanning the air.

"Ah, sorry." Sophie said, stepping back.

"You know that doesn't do anything, right? Come back here." he said, pulling her arm. Sophie stumbled, and Keefe caught her waist. "Woah there, Foster."
