Techno was supposed to return before dark. Hours ago. Now Philza was soaring over massive lava lakes, obsidian feathers spread. His wings were starting to cramp. He spotted a crimson forest and flew down.
Where could Techno be? He always came back at least sometime near when he said.
He stretched his wings. Where was his pink-haired friend?
A snort behind him. Phil spun around and saw the biggest hoglin he'd ever seen. It was massive and covered in brownish pink fur.
Phil backed up, eying the giant, razor sharp tusks. It started at him, then knelt and laid down, looking at him with big dark eyes.
"Um... Hello?" Phil said slowly.
The boar snorted and tossed its head.
" You're friendly for a hoglin." Phil said slowly. "I don't suppose you be seen someone with pink hair and a pig skull mask around, have you?"
The boar snorted, looking amused. It stood and nudged Phil with it's snout, before walking away.
"That's towards the Arctic. Techno wouldn't have gone there."
The hoglin turned back and snorted again.
"Fine, fine, we'll do it your way." Phil said, following the giant pig.

"No, we can't keep going this way." Phil insisted.
The hoglin turned back to him.
"What?" Phil asked. "I told you, Techno wouldn't have gone this way."
The hoglin stepped forward. Phil leaned back, away from the large tusks.
It grabbed onto the front of his tunic and turned back around, dragging Phil along.
Phil grabbed onto the tusks. "No." He said sternly, pushing the hoglin's face away. "No no no no no."
The hoglin raised its face, lifting Phil into the air, and continued on it's way.
Philza groaned and lets go. "No, we're going this way."
He pulled a lead out of his inventory and stretched it between his hands. "Come on, you big pig."
The hoglin looked amused. It snorted.

Philza pulled on the rope with all his strength, but the hoglin didn't react at all. It just kept walking, dragging Phil behind it.
Philza let go and fell to the ground. "Fine! Fine. We can go this way. But we have to stop soon and rest."
The hoglin grunted.
Philza followed the giant pink boar, defeated.
