Ranboo hammered against the training dummy. His twin swords slashed and danced.
"Better. Keep your knees bent." Phil advised from the sidelines.
"Grip the ground with your claws." Herobrine suggested. "It increases power."
Phil watched as Ranboo sliced the dummy in half, letting it join the crumpled, broken pile of training props on the ground.
"Good. Just remember to strike faster."
Ranboo panted, nodding.
Herobrine walked into the arena. "Fight me."
Ranboo backed away. "I don't- I don't think I'm ready t-to, you know, actually fight someone."
"Bull. Fight me."
Ranboo looked at his blades. "I don't want to hurt you."
"You can't."
The enderman looked away.
Herobrine lunged, swinging his pale sword.
Ranboo ducked and spun away. Herobrine followed. Ranboo was forced to duck and dance to avoid his slashes.
Finally, Ranboo parried and returned a slice. Herobrine forced him back.
"Let him breathe!" Phil called.
The white-eyed man huffed. "He needs to learn that people are going to attack him."
Ranboo backed away. "I've hurt people before. I don't want to do it-"
Herobrine hit him in the face with the flat of his blade.
"Hey!"
Ranboo stumbled back with an inhuman hiss, like an H, but rolled like an R.
He looked up, and his eyes were purple. He backed up, his arms going limp, holding the swords to the ground. His tail lashed.
He screamed. Phil clamped his hands over his ears as Ranboo shrieked, an echoey, vibrating, glitchy sound, like a demon, or a ghost.
The enderman leaped forward, smashing his swords into Herobrine's pale blade, knocking it to the ground. He slashed, and Herobrine was forced to scramble and spin.
For a long moment, they danced. Then, Ranboo's clawed foot plunged into Herobrine's abdomen, knocking him to the ground.
Twin blades plunged down, and Herobrine turned into shadow. Grainy and shifting, like black sand.
He backed up as Ranboo snarled. "That worked."
"What did you do to him?"
"Hit him in the face with a sword. Or are you blind too?"
Phil glared at him.
"I didn't do anything. That's him."
"Really?" Phil said skeptically.
"Well, my sword has magic properties that brought it out." Herobrine admitted. "So it won't last long."
Ranboo shook his head as his eyes faded back to red and green.
"Um... What happened?" He asked, rubbing his head.
"I hit you in the head and your eyes turned purple."
"What? How did you-?"
"My sword brings things out in people. I figured something would happen. Do you know what happened?"
"......no."
Herobrine turned back into a normal man. "No?"
"No." Ranboo said, looking at his feet. "Why would you try to trigger something?"
"Because you need to learn how to fight. And you're not. Not unless you transform like that."
Ranboo looked away. "Shouldn't we be packing?"
Phil nodded. "Yes, we should." He glared at Herobrine.
Herobrine scoffed. "He needed that. Don't deny it."

Philza couldn't. No matter how much he wanted too.
