Traitor.

Was there any worse title? Was anything worse than a word which said you were a monster, a being who would attempt to destroy your allies, those who trusted you?

Foolish didn't know anymore.

Maybe this made him evil. Maybe this was worse than the wither skeletons. Maybe this made him worse than the monsters, worse than the dragons, worse than the egg.

The part of him that had once been the Sun King had told Philza, despite the shrieking whispers that demanded otherwise.

Perhaps he had tried to fight back. Perhaps he was trying to save these visitors.
Perhaps he was losing, and he knew it.

It was hard to accept, that he had lost. But the fog quickly swallowed those thoughts, the last bits of rebellion.

He was done. Done fighting, done struggling. He needed something from those whispers.

He had decided. He was going to end it. He was going to end the 'visitors'.

King wouldn't be happy. But the whispers would be. Those whispers, asking for blood, for death.

Maybe Foolish had once known that it was evil. But the promises, for things he'd lost long ago....it was far more appealing than King's proposal.

Foolish would end it.

He'd end it for the red ribbons in his mind, the blood vines in his dreams. For what could really matter, other than the egg?

Ok so this chapter is super short, but I wanted to let all you guys know that I am in fact not dead.

Also figured I'd torture you with this little snippet for a bit. Muahahahahaha.

Anyway, I'll update eventually. Might take some time, but it'll happen.
