After leaving the apartment the trio headed back to the police station so that Aizawa could drop off the documents. They only needed one more signature now, from Hitoshi's social worker, and Tsukauchi was in the process of tracking him down.
Whilst they waited in the car Yamada turned to Hitoshi.
"Soooooo 'Toshi. Whadya wanna do now?"
"Could we just go back to your apartment please?" Hitoshi signed, "If there was something else you wanted to do that's okay I don't mind—"
"Sure thing Little Listener! You must be pretty tired huh." Yamada cut him off. "And Hitoshi?"
He hummed in response.
"It's our apartment now. You live there too."
Hitoshi smiled in response and Yamada grinned, reaching over to pat him on the head just as Aizawa returned to the car.
"Home?" He asked, shutting the door.
"Home." Yamada replied with a grin.

As soon as they stepped through the door Jellybeans shot out from under the sofa and launched herself at Aizawa's feet.
Hitoshi just huffed a laugh in amusement as Yamada smirked at his husband. "It's because your feet are so stinky Sho."
Aizawa glared at him in response, "My feet are not stinky, if anything she's avoiding yours because you're the stinky one."
Yamada gasped in mock horror, one hand going to his heart and the other grasping onto Hitoshi's arm for support. "How could you," he took a shuddering breath. "My own husband, you wound me!"
Aizawa's glare intensified, "You started this."
"I have never in my life been stinky."
"I would have to disagree with that."
"Well, I think your personality is stinky!" Yamada turned away pouting. "I'm going to ignore you now and talk to 'Toshi, 'Toshi's nice to me." He wrapped an arm around Hitoshi's shoulders and began to lead him to the living room.
Aizawa just sighed, "You literally started this."
"No kisses for you tonight!"
"You wouldn't... actually no scratch that you couldn't."
"Can to."
Hitoshi looked up from where he was pushed against Yamada's shoulder, catching both the pro's attention.
"He's right you know, your armpits are pretty stinky."
Yamada drew back, staring at him in flabbergasted silence. The quiet was broken by Aizawa's snort, before he started full on laughing, and Yamada struggled to find words before wailing about how he was being ganged up on.
Aizawa walked over to the two of them and kissed his husband on the cheek, "We're just messing with you 'Zashi. Come on."
He dragged him to the sofa and they sat down next to each other.
Hitoshi wasn't quite sure what to do so he stood there awkwardly for a second before Yamada beckoned him over.
He glanced at his options - either he could take the other sofa to the side, but Aizawa was turning on the TV and it was at a bad angle, plus Dog was laying there and he really didn't want to incur her wrath; or he could sit to either side of the heroes, but that begged the question of which one? Hitoshi didn't want to seem like he had a favourite. He'd met Aizawa first, but Yamada had been the one helping him calm down earlier, but then again Aizawa—
Yep, Hitoshi was definitely overthinking this.
He walked over and plonked himself down right between the two. They had to shift over to accommodate him but they made it work. Yamada laughed at his action and Aizawa just ruffled his hair fondly, he'd noticed they both did that a lot, but he didn't mind. Surprisingly he found himself leaning into the action on multiple occasions.
Although it made sense when he thought about it, he'd never really experienced physical affection, touch had always been a violent and painful thing, so he was pretty touch-starved.
Aizawa flicked though Netflix before settling on some random pre-quirk Disney film. Yamada placed his arm around Hitoshi's shoulders, and Aizawa pulled a blanket over the three of them as they settled down to watch the movie. At some point the three cats made their way into the pile, curling up on the blanket.
They ordered takeaway at one point, moving on to the next film as they ate.
By the time all the containers had been moved to the kitchen and they were starting the third film Hitoshi was struggling to keep his eyes open. He leaned his head against Aizawa's shoulder and he seemed to get the message, shifting Hitoshi so he was laying on his lap, his legs draped over Yamada's. They pulled the blanket over him and allowed the cats to reposition themselves.
Hitoshi fell asleep to the comforting weight of Yamada's arms resting on his legs, the purring of multiple cats, and the feeling of someone gently running their fingers through his hair.
He slept better than he had in months.
