Jennie fell silent while Kai kept his smile but she knew it was a fake smile to fool her.
She didn't know what to say. Did she make it obvious? Technically, yes. She made it clear to Kai that Lisa's memory alone can make her extremely happy.
"Sir malapit na po tayo. . deretso na po ba tayo sa red carpet o backstage na lang po? " said the driver.
Inayos ni Jennie ang pagkakaupo nya to avoid Kai's eyes.
Unlike her, Kai is very good at keeping his act. A poker face with a fake smile. Then he smirked.
"Red carpet na manong. Let the world see how beautiful my girlfriend is." then he looked at Jennie. "Besides, I want to witness those envious eyes around me. Especially hers. . "
Jennie turned to meet his eyes. Kai's smiling face hasn't changed. Lalo lang syang naguguluhan. She can't read him.
"Who?"
"You'll see. " then he winked at her.

Kai's phone vibrates.
Incoming call.
"Update?" he asked as soon as he picked up the call.

Final retouch na lang at lalabas na din kami nang dressing room.
Napakatahimik. Hindi ko alam kung kinakabahan lang ba kami o dahil kulang kami nang isa.
Tinangnan ko ang phone ko. Wala pa ding text galing kay Jennie. Si Lisa naman kanina pa tahimik dun sa gilid samantalang si Chaeyoung ay pinagtutulungan nang tatlong stylist. Medyo sensitive at high maintenance kasi ang buhok nito.
"How do I look Jisoo'nnie?? " napansin nya atang nakatingin ako.
"You're pretty babe, don't bother Jisoo'nnie. ." singit ni Lisa.
"Paano ako maniniwala eh hindi mo nga ako tinitingnan?! Kanina ka pa dyan nakaharap sa pader. Ako ba yan?? " singhal pa nito.
"Aishhh" .Binaba ni Lisa ang phone nya at inikot ang swivel chair paharap saamin.
The spoiled Chaeyoung wins.
She gasped. I can see na talagang nabigla sya.
"Oh my God! Your gorgeous Chaeyoung." Nanlaki pa nga ang mga mata nito."Your dress suits you well. Can I kiss you?? " Para nga itong bata na lumapit kay Chaeyoung naka'hands forward pa.
"No Lisa-yah!! You'll ruin my makeup!"
"Hey, Lalisa!." sigaw ko.
"Don't worry Jisoo'nnie I'll kiss you after."
Wala na nga akong nagawa. Lisa cupped Chaeyoung's face and kissed her cheeks. Not once but four times, she didn't stop until her lipstick marks on Chaeyoung. Ang landi. Tss.
