The Meg X Reader [jonas]

Chapter 8

y/n POV:

As we waited to see who had survived my mom was talking to mac and heller when the sub came to the surface. Heller rushed over with his crew. The first person to come through the hatch was Lori on a stretcher than the wall. The last person to come through was Jonas my heart sunk as i realized Toshi was dead. The wall walked up to my grandfather and shoved a note into his chest and carried on walking. My mom went storming up to Jonas and said "where's Toshi?" Jonas just looked down and replied with. "He closed the hatch he saved us" My mom then snapped coldly at him "You left him that's what you people do you leave them." Jonas walked away without giving her another look instead he turned to mac "This is why i don't do this anymore mac." Mac just gave him a sympathetic look. He then stormed past me on his way to his room. I felt extremely bad for what my mom had said to the man that had saved her life. I get that she's angry and upset about his death but she needs to apologize.

"I think you should apologize to him" I said to my mom. "Me to" she admitted looking down obviously feeling guilty. Without another word she walked off. I presumed she went after Jonas who i presumed went to check on lori. A feeling of jealousy hit my like i had walked into a brick wall. He would probably go back to her even though we had only recently met i feel like we have a connection. I waited about half an hour before i went to check on Lori. When i arrived there she was just lying down in the bed with a few fluids running into her. I let out a sigh of relief knowing she was alive i couldn't of lost my closet friend. I then convinced myself to go and get some sleep before the meeting that was three hours away as it was at 6 in the morning and we were at 3 because of everything that's gone on. As i laid down in my bed it was like everything seemed to be ok no more hurt no more tears i could finally forget about what a shit day it had been.

I woke to my alarm which meant i had to leave for the meeting. I quickly jumped out of bed and threw a pair of joggers and a hoodie on and left. I decided i would visit Jonas first as it was on the way to the meeting room. I knocked on his door when he opened it i walked in and greeted him. "Hi Jonas i just wanted to say thank you for saving my mom and the others." and with that i turned round and realized that he was naked which caused me to turn as red as a tomato. "You're naked" i said sounding shocked and pointing out the obvious. He let out a small chuckle as i quickly left the room without any other words being exchanged
