Soon enough Jonas was connected to a wire and he was jumping in the water my heart was pounding as he swam towards the meg. My nerves got the best of me as tears start running down my already red face mac comes over and throws his arm over me in hopes of calming me down which failed but he remained like that in hopes eventually it would help me calm down. Jonas was in reach of the shark now so as it rose above the surface he started to aim for the fin but before he had chance to shoot it went back under so Jonas put his googles on and went under time seemed to drag until he rose back up and put his thumbs up showing that he had successfully got the tracker in the fin. Excitement was evident on all our faces and the lads started o reel him back in but the sudden jolt of movement caught the attention of the meg and it now changed course and was heading straight for Jonas the lads quickly re started the machine and soon enough it was on and Jonas was so close to the jaws of this thing. My tears became worse and it became hard to breathe. I closed my eyes and was hoping that he was going to make it.

I heard everyone's breathing stop as we were all nervous as hell. Without another thought Jonas had been pulled out of the water and was lying on the back of the boat trying to catch his breath. Before i could really know what i was doing i was already hugging a very soaked Jonas. "Told you i was going to come back y/n" I let out a little giggle as he still managed to get a told you so in even if he was almost a sharks snack. After Jonas dried off and put some clothes on top off his wet suit we all started to rig up the shark cage and started to get the gun ready to inject the poison thing into the sharks mouth. I couldn't help but listen into my grandfathers conversation with Heller "A whale is knocked out with 10 cc's (I believe that's what they measure in.) dead with 20 so what do you think?" My granddad said. "I say we use the whole damn bottle" Heller says. I knew deep down my granddad really didn't want to kill this thing as it was an amazing scientific discovery but he also knew this is what he had to do to protect the people of the world. I knew my mom was planning on going down there but so many people needed her and nobody really needed me they would miss me of course but they don't need me like people need my mom as she was such a big contribution to the business whereas i weren't. 

"I'm going" I confidently said to the group. "No your not y/n" said my mom. "Why not if you go your leaving your daughters behind and many people who need you as part of this team whereas i'm not needed by this team and i am willing to sacrifice myself if it means you and meiying will still have her mother." "No y/n let me do this your young you still have your life ahead of you" Jonas practically begged me. "No you've already risked you life once let me do this please." I begged. He just looked at me and walked off to talk to jaxx about the shark cage. My nerves were building up as i got changed into my wet suit. I had nothing to lose really i hadn't got a job or a boyfriend but i dint want to leave Jonas behind so i was definitely going to try my hardest to come back. As i sat on the edge of the boat getting my gear ready Jonas approached me. "Let me go please." He begged one last time. "No Jonas this is something that i have to do." I calmly replied with he turned my face so i was looking into his eyes. i could of got lost in them if it wasn't for the fact he spoke "Please be safe and come back i don't know how i will handle it if i lose you."
