And finally, the Ravagers! Here, I'm going to cover what exactly happened when they got loose (and the events that followed after).

» We all know that Tango was the one responsible for letting the Ravagers loose in the first place. Their origin is still unknown, and they were only noticed by the Keep when Tango was on the throne, which is recent. For all y'all know, they could have been around for as long as the Evokers have ;)

» Once Tango knew about their existence, he immediately wanted to know more about them. To refresh your memory, he originally wanted to train the Ravagers to act as a sort of defense mechanism and bolster the Keep's safety. Unfortunately, he didn't realize that Ravagers don't tend to listen to rules, and it wasn't long before they got out of control and were set loose.

» What followed next was a chain reaction of disasters, all happening within two months. Among these was the loss of the Redstone power core (which supplied electricity to all of the Keep). When it was destroyed people were reduced back to manual work rather than relying on machines.

» There was also the initial destruction to the Keep caused by the Ravagers, including multiple deaths and injuries, as well as multiple sectors completely destroyed.

» And then, of course, the Ravagers getting loose kickstarted the events that eventually led up to Tango, Impulse, and Etho falling apart. I've already covered that in the chapter before this, so I won't bother y'all with too many details again ^^;

» The Wanderers didn't form until Impulse went "missing" in the Forest. It was slow progress at first, but the Ravagers were slowly taken out, one by one, once the group had started. Some of the Ravagers actually fell into danger on their own, especially the ones that had found their way into the Fortress, one of the more dangerous sectors.

» Despite taking down the Ravagers being the Wanderers' top priority, it still took quite a while for them to track all the Ravagers down and find a way to kill them (keep in mind that all this time they didn't have any weapons! They had to rely on smarts and wits).

» But, as time went on, the only Ravager left was the one Tango managed to trap in the old castle dungeon. Once that one was killed, there were no more major threats to the Keep anymore.

» The Dungeon is far from going back to what it "used to be", though. It's been tormented by the Ravagers for so long that they're used to the beasts being around, so it's going to take a long time for things to go back to their pre-Ravager states.

» Or, who knows? With the new, undiscovered area, maybe they'll run into more trouble on the other side of that door :D

So, we've reached the end of another book! I can't thank you guys enough for reading, seeing how much you guys like my writing always means the world to me <3

This book has definitely been one of my favorites to write! It's my first proper AU with worldbuilding and all that, and I really enjoyed expanding on the lore in each chapter. I like to take a different approach with every book I write; with this one, I added something to the story in every chapter without having many "break chapters".

I really like this style of writing, though I think I am going to take it a bit easier with my next story. I love hardcore angst and action as much as the next person, but sometimes you just gotta take it a bit slower, you know?

Anyway, thank you guys so much for sticking around, whether you've been here from the start or have somehow found my book amidst all the other fanfictions on this site! Hard to believe I've been on this site writing fanfiction about block people for almost two years now,, time flies, huh?

Here's to future stories!
