Twenty Two

The next morning I wake up with a massive smile on my face.

Then I remember that Josh is dating Maddie. Which makes my heart ache.

I hope she has good intentions but the gut feeling in me says otherwise. I make a mental note to tell Tiana about it and see what she says, even though I know she will most likely tell me that she was right about Maddie and her intentions of getting close to us.

But again, we have no proof to prove what her intentions are. I just feel so stupid for not listening to Tiana. She's always right. And why would I think that Maddie would change?

I sit up in bed and pick my phone up, deciding to go on Instagram. If only I know how much pain it would cause me to open Instagram and to look at the first post on there...

Love you💗 @joshdunkley_

This photo is a stab to the chest. The fact that she tagged Josh in there and got 3,000 likes because of Josh being tagged, is beyond me. I know now she is definitely doing it to become an influencer. It makes me mad that she's using Josh to become famous and he has no idea. He thinks she likes him, for him and not for his followers, or money. Well he's wrong.

I can't go and tell him that just because she got 3,000 likes on her instagram post with him in it that she's using him, I need more proof, and I will do anything I can to get it.

And I think I might have a very clever way of doing it.

As I'm about to get up and head downstairs Marcus barges into my room and sits on the bed.

"Did you see this?" He says turning the phone to me and showing me the post I just saw and I nod.

"Yep, I saw it alright."

"The girl looks familiar." He says and I nod.

"Yep, it's that bitch Maddie that I went high school with."

"Ohh, is she the one that took all your friends away from you?"

"Yep." I say rolling my eyes and Marcus shrugs.

"Maybe she's changed."

"She hasn't." I say and Marcus frowns.

"How would you know?"

"Tiana and I caught up with her the other day and all she was talking about was becoming an AFL WAG and wanting to date an AFL player so badly." I say and Marcus nods.
