^^Hopefully Bont walks out of this years Brownlow with the medal around his neck. 🥰
Sunday comes quicker than expected. The boys are up early, preparing, doing their morning routines before a big game.
I thought I was going to be working, turns out I'm not rostered on for this one, so I will most definitely be working next week... if we win that is.
I had the option of sitting with my cousins, who are also mad Bulldogs supporters for the game, but Josh insisted I sat with the rest of the WAGS. Which I'm more than happy to do because I adore those girls.
"Alright everyone got everything?" Marcus asks as we hop into the car. I look around me, I've got my bag, my phone and wallet are inside as well as some other essential things a girl needs. I then look at my scarf and freeze.
"I forgot my pin!" I yell opening the car door and running back inside to get it. Luckily, it was sitting on the bench. I quickly put it on, then I head back to the car and we make our way to the MCG.
"Who's the guy on the pin." Josh asks and I smile.
"Oh he's my boyfriend." I say which makes him smile.
"Oh really now?"
"Yep." I say and then we both laugh.
"Damn I look good in this one." He says and I smile.
"Cocky as always, save some for the game." I say which makes Marcus nod.
"I agree with Tahls here." Marcus says and we all laugh.
"How many people do you reckon will turn up today?" Em says and we all think.
"I reckon it'll be packed to the brim, so around 90,000." Josh says and I nod.
"I agree. 90, to 95,000."
"You're probably right, we are playing Essendon who are one of the big clubs and have heaps of members/supporters." Em says and we all nod.
We get to the MCG in no time. Marcus parks in the underground carpark of the MCG, then we walk into the rooms. I quickly say goodbye to the boys before heading to my seats.
Being a WAG, comes with some good entitlements. We're sitting level 1, first row of the MCG, near the doggies cheer squad. Pretty good seats if you were to ask me. We were gonna sit level 2 where the rest of the playing group are sitting, but we decided for the kids' sake it's better if we sit level 1 so that they can all spot their Dads.
I get to the seats to see Lara, Kim, Rudi and Georgie all sitting down and looking out at the boys who have started to come up the race, going out to do their warmup.
"Hey my favourite people." I say giving them all a hug. Georgie clutches on to me and has a massive smile on her face.
"Hey Tahls, how are you?" Kim says as I take a seat next to her with Georgie on my lap.
"Yeah I've been good, yourself?"
"I'd much rather be in warm and sunny Queensland right now but gotta support Adam." She says and I nod, then smile.
