"Are we nearly there yet? We've been driving for an hour." I say to Josh and he just chuckles.
"Nearly, only half an hour to go." He says and I groan.
"Hey, you're gonna love it."
"I hope so, otherwise I'm suing."
"And who exactly are you going to sue?"
"You of course."
"Hey, I'm the one paying for the petrol."
"Fair point." I say which makes him laugh.
Not long after we arrive at our destination. It looks somewhat familiar but I still have no idea where we are.
"I hope you put some runners on." Josh says with a smirk and I nod.
"Of course I did. I don't go anywhere without a pair of runners on." I say and he nods.
We both get out of the car and Josh grabs my hand.
"Come, this way." He says virtually pulling me and I chuckle.
We walk up this path and it looks like we're walking through a jungle.
"Are you sure you're not kidnapping me?" I say and he laughs.
"No bubs, trust me you're gonna love it." He says giving me a reassuring squeeze and I sigh.
We continue walking until we stop.
"Alright do you trust me?" He asks and I nod. "Okay, close your eyes."
I close my eyes and feel him pulling me. His hand is intertwined with mine, and his other hand is on my shoulder, guiding me and making sure I don't fall or trip on anything.
"Alright, I'm gonna get you to take your shoes off." He says and I frown, with my eyes still closed.
"Take my shoes off."
"Just trust me." He says and I sigh as he helps me take my shoes off as I can't really do it with my eyes on. I feel my shoes and socks come off and feel a hard surface underneath my feet, it feels like a massive rock.
"Okay, now sit down." He says.
"Right here?" I say and he nods.
"Yes bubs, right here."
"Okay." I say carefully sitting down and stretching my legs out until I feel them dipped in cool water.
"You can open your eyes now." He says and my eyes shoot open.
"Oh my god." I say as I take in my surroundings.
"See, I told you I'd love it."
"You brought me to Cape Schanck?"
"Yes, yes I did." Josh says sitting down next to me and also dipping his feet into the water.
I take in the view around me. I am sitting on the edge of a rock pool, with the ocean not too far away from where we're sitting.
