Today is game day, and we're taking on Adelaide down in Ballarat. Our second home, we drove up to Ballarat yesterday and spent the night here because no one can be bothered waking up at 8am to make the long drive down to Ballarat
I sigh as I roll over to check the time. It's 8:30. We have to be at Mars Stadium at 10am. I roll back over to face Josh and smile as I see him slowly wake up. I reach out and play with his hair as he manages to open his eyes, letting a little groan out.
"What time is it bubs?"
"Good morning to you too. But it's 8:30."
"Perfect. There's enough time for us to go for a walk and get Em and Marcus some coffee's." Josh says getting up out of bed and I sigh.
"I thought we could cuddle for a bit longer." I pout and Josh laughs.
"I promise I'll make it up to you tonight bubs." He says walking into the bathroom.
I quickly get changed, chucking on some leggings and a jumper, then throwing over my Kathmandu jacket. I storm into the bathroom and splash my face with water, before brushing my hair while Josh gets dressed.
We then head out of our little apartment and head down to the local coffee shop to order the gang some coffee's.
Baz of course tags along with us, which I don't mind because he is good company... as annoying as he can get.
We get to the coffee shop in no time. We go in and order our coffee's then make our way back to the apartment. We head up the lifts to where Em and Marcus are staying and I knock on the door.
Em opens the door with a smile.
"Morning." She says and I smile.
"Morning, here's your coffee." I say giving her the cup of coffee I'm holding in my hand.
"Where's Marcus?" I ask as I walk in passed her and take a seat on the couch and she sighs.
"He went out for a walk."
"By himself?" Josh asks and she nods.
"He seems pretty stressed about the game, and went on the walk by himself to clear his head."
"Why?" I ask and Em shrugs.
"I have no idea, I've been trying to figure it out for ages but I can't quite figure it out."
"Cause he might be getting tagged." Josh says. "He is obviously is trying to prepare himself for if he does get tagged."
"I guess." Em says and I sigh.
"He's never been like this over a tag."
"I think it's cause he's been playing so well." Baz says and I nod.
"It has to be. But I guess it's fine, you can't always carry the team."
"Exactly." Em says with a sigh as I take a sip from my coffee.
Not long later Marcus comes back from his walk and according to Em he seems calmer.
