Thirteen

The next few days fly passed! Why do the school holidays always have to go so fast?

The last couple of days I've been taking the time to relax and treat myself. And no, I haven't seen Josh since our little kiss the other day, but we've been sending snaps to each other like usual. I think we're both just moving on from it. People hook up all the time, so it's not a big deal.

Today I am meeting up Tiana. We decided to go out for brunch as it is now Wednesday and both of us want to start going out and having fun.

Tiana had her date with Jack yesterday so I expect to hear lots of details about how it went. I have already told her about the kiss that happened between Josh and I, for the second time. She said that it was a good thing and now maybe Josh is starting to realise that he should go after what he wants. I agreed with her, but I still think he's unsure, which is fine. Plus, I sort of pushed him away by telling him to get out there and try and date.

I decide to get out of bed and get ready for brunch. I chuck on whatever I could find in my wardrobe, not really fussed about the outfit, I pop my shoes on and head out the door.

It takes me no longer than 5 minutes to get to the cafe. And to my surprise Tiana is already there.

I take a seat and smile.

"You have to tell me every single thing that happened on your date." I say and Tiana laughs.

"Good morning to you too." She says rolling her eyes and I laugh.

"Sorry, but I have a right to ask what happened because YOU HAVEN'T TOLD ME SHIT."

"Alright, alright. I'll tell you now." She says and I smile.

"So how did it go?"

"It went really well. Our conversations flowed and I am really starting to like him." She says and I smile.

"That's great T. I am so glad you might have found the one."

"Thanks Tahls. I just can't believe I went out on a date with him. Like everyone was looking at me with him, while we were at the restaurant and he was so apologetic about it because of how much attention we were receiving."

"Aww. That's so cute." I say and she nods.

"Yep, we ended up getting our meals takeaway and went back to his house and chilled there. Honestly, it was much better than the restaurant."

"How bloody cute. That's all I want in life.:" I say and she laughs, "But I am so happy for you T."

"Thanks Tahls." She says as the waitress comes over to take our order.

We order our meals and continue talking.

"So you two kissed... again." She says and I nod.

"Yep. But it's probably the last time it'll happen." I say and she nods.

"That's okay. But I don't think it'll be the last time. But I mean at least you can say you've kissed him."

"Yeah true... it probably won't be, knowing how I can't fucking control myself." I say sighing and she laughs.

"Babe he's hot, why would you control yourself? Especially since he's always flirting with you."
